INDIA: Muslims say “women get raped (by Muslim men) if they don’t wear the hijab”
Protests in Karnataka began after six Muslim female students of the Government Girls PU college in Udupi district alleged that they had been prevented from attending classes for wearing the Islamic hijab to cover their hair.

Going further with his shocking logic, the Congress MLA, speaking to news agency ANI, said, “But, wearing hijab is not compulsory, only those who want to protect themselves and those who don’t want to show their beauty to everyone wear it. This has been in practice for years”.
What began as a school issuing an order apparently to protect secularism in the classroom has now snowballed into protests and counter-protests across Karnataka, spreading elsewhere the country and beyond.
The Karnataka High Court on Friday, in an interim order, advised students to avoid wearing the hijab, saffron shawls or any religious clothing in class “until further orders”. The court was hearing multiple petitions challenging a prohibition on hijab in the state. The hearing of the pleas will continue today, February 14.
In a blatant attempt to infuriate the Hindu majority in India even more, Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi declared that a Muslim girl wearing a hijab would be the Prime Minister of India one day.
Violence broke out in a school in Murshidabad district of West Bengal when a headmaster of a school asked Muslim girls to come in proper uniform and not wear a burqa. The incident happened on Saturday, as villagers hurled stones at the school.

We get the real facts and we shut our eyes. All that happens in the rest of the world should show us what is comming to us and what is importet to us and it should make us upset. What i see is a few who write out the problem but i dont see anybody who does or will do anything about it and that is what will get our throats cut. As simple as that and the politics are more than happy to apply because we write and sit.
So the logic appears to be that muslim men demand that muslim women, ALL women, must cover up their bodies in order that muslim men will not wish to rape them…
Therefore muslim men are admitting that they are in fact a bunch of rapists… Logical… right ??.

I have to admit it finally. Muslims usually have their way in India way often more than they do in countries like China, Denmark, and France where the hijab controversy refuses to die down because the Chinese, Danes and French will not accommodate them..
Although hijab isn’t important in Islam, the girls still got what they wanted. Makes it all the more wrong for me to have written my anti-Hindu polemic yesterday.
Hijab is NOT compulsory in Islam. There are many other ways to protect your modesty rather than going in full Hijab mode. Also young Muslim men should be taught to keep their hands off the girls who don’t want to wear a hijab. In India, Pakistan etc., Muslim girls have traditionally exposed their hair and face to stranger men while being dressed modestly. Most people have been fine with that fashion for centuries. The hijab is a more recent phenomenon. My mother never wore one.
