In victory speech, the Donald Trump-endorsed Viktor Orban says the election results are a message to the European Union that his brand of Christian, conservative, and ‘patriotic’ politics ‘is not the past, this is the future.’
TimesofIsrael “We won a victory so big that you can see it from the moon, and you can certainly see it from Brussels,” said Orban, who has often been condemned by the European Union for anti-Muslim immigration and anti-LGBTQ policies. “The whole world has seen tonight in Budapest that Christian democratic politics, conservative civic politics and patriotic politics have won. We are telling Europe that this is not the past, this is the future,” Orban said.
Viktor Orbán’s seven-step program to save Christian civilization:
-
The issue of migration shall be taken away from Brussels and handed over to the nation-states
-
No country shall be obliged to accept migrants
-
Nobody shall be allowed to enter Europe without valid documentation
-
Migrant-cards and migrant-visas shall be abolished
-
Brussels shall stop funding migration-aiding Soros-NGOs
-
Nobody shall be reprimanded for being Christian in Europe
-
All EU institutions shall be lead by anti-immigration leaders
While votes were still being tallied, it appeared clear that the question was not whether Orban’s Fidesz party would take the election, but by how much. With 75% of votes tallied, Orban’s Fidesz-led coalition had won 54.5%, while a pro-European opposition coalition, United for Hungary, had nearly 34%, according to the National Election Office. It appeared possible that Fidesz would win another constitutional majority, allowing it to keep making deep changes to the Central European nation.
As Fidesz party officials gathered at an election night event on the Danube river in Budapest, state secretary Zoltan Kovacs pointed to the participation of so many parties in the election as a testament to the strength of Hungary’s democracy. “We have heard a lot of nonsense recently about whether there is democracy in Hungary,” Kovacs said. “Hungarian democracy in the last 12 years has not weakened, but been strengthened.”
What’s more, in a surprise performance, radical right-wing party Our Homeland Movement appeared to have garnered more than 6% of the vote, exceeding the 5% threshold needed to gain seats in parliament.
Orban — a fierce critic of Muslim immigration, LGBTQ rights and “EU bureaucrats” — has garnered the admiration of right-wing nationalists across Europe and North America. He has taken many of Hungary’s democratic institutions under his control and depicted himself as a defender of European Christendom against Muslim migrants, progressives and the “LGBTQ lobby.”
According to the virulently anti-Orban CIA publication,“ Orban has signaled a warm welcome to 500,000 Ukrainians fleeing war — a reversal from his stance during an earlier migration crisis, when Hungary built a wall in response to hordes of Muslim economic migrants posing as refugees from the Middle East and Africa.”
Along with the election to parliament, a referendum on LGBTQ issues was being held Sunday. The questions pertained to sex education programs in schools and the availability to children of information about sex reassignment.

Excellent.
Another sting into the visage of the multicultural EU bureaucrats and proof that the average Hungarian citizen is way less deluded than for instance in Germany.
France next however they will likely reelect Macron.

Wonderful news! But I see even Orbán doesn’t want to name Islam. He refers to, “Other cultures”.

Wonderful news!!! Our hero won!
Italy’s hero Salvini and his party sent their congratulations.
The leader of the opposition party who wanted to oust Orban believed their party would win. The weird thing about the opposition leader is that he’s reported to be proud of his christianity! But it’s Orban who defends Christianity and Hungary!
Please Precious God, Protect, and bestow all of Your many wonderful blessings on Orban, his party and Hungary!
To God be the Glory forever and ever! Amen.

Liberal christianity is the camel’s nose for crescent fiends and lgbt queers (both equally evil).

Bravo to Orban. We need more strong leaders like him to save Western civilisation. And fewer Soros-funded a**holes who game the system to keep out other real leaders like Trump and Salvini.

This is a great victory for not just Hungary but for Western Civilization and the preservation of our Judeo-Christian culture. PM Orban now has the political and moral authority to sit down with Putin and negotiate an end to the Ukraine war. This can be achieved by ceding the Eastern Ukraine to Russia by popular referendum and the return of Transcarpathia to Hungary and Lviv to Poland with both territories demilitarized and as buffers between the remaining Ukrainian state and NATO.
