Why should our people be slaughtered by Muslim God haters?
There are complicating issues. They must be ironed out in a “ rule of law” society. Would Israeli Arabs be able to buy a pistol &/or get a (concealed)/carry permit? They must be treated equally in a democratic society. They are entitled to the presumption of innocence if they don’t have a criminal record. How would the law handle purchases by straw persons who would then transfer legally bought guns to nefarious individuals. What happens to the weapon after it is bought? How is it securely kept? Would the law require range practice time or forget about the licensee after purchase? How much would it cost to administer all these regulations?How do you keep guns out of the hands of Israeli career criminals, mentally ill individuals and the all too frequent encounter with a hot head? Perhaps the better answer is an armed police auxiliary and armed contract private professional security.
Common sense: In Israel all Jews should carry a weapon while all Muslims cannot. No matter if the Muzzies are citizens. Don’t like it? Then move to Palestine … problem solved.
