Clearly there is no chance for a negotiated resolution of the conflict. Reality requires civilized people to stop attributing good-faith intentions to the Palestinian political apparatus, Hamas, PIJ or the Palestinian Authority. In fact, there ought to be a step taken backwards to the essential actuality of the historical context, namely that there is no such thing as an Arab people called the Palestinians, no matter how strident they declare it. There never was an independent nation of Arab people called Palestine. The only time there was a kind of political entity referencing Palestine was after the League of Nations established the UK’s mandate to administer the area. In such time the capitol of “palestine” was London, England. Let these incorrigible renegade in-nationalized Arabs stew in their juice under the hot Middle East sun!
