The Taliban have been hungry to get their hands on foreign aid, but, likely guided by their Qatari backers, they’ve also been clever about it. They proposed a joint body with the international community to dispense aid. When that didn’t work, they went back to their usual strategy of pressuring NGOs to hire Taliban members to determine where the aid should go and who should distribute it. But that’s just a matter of cutting out the middleman for more direct control.

If you take away his Western credentials and fancy Oxford degree, Khan represents the most radical faction of Pushtoon Sunnis. There’s a reason he’s called “Taliban Khan” by the media.
The OPPOSITION is no better. They represent the old aristocracy, a bunch of feudal landlords whose leaders are often educated at Western universities but their ideology is of the most backward people you’ll ever meet.
A lot of ordinary Pakistanis favor Islamization and Taliban running things because it’s a STEP UP for them compared to living under the whims of entitled feudal morons.

Here’s a funny anecdote from Pakistan that you might enjoy. Apparently there was a sit-com named Laapata (means = Missing) where a wife SLAPS her husband, and “warns him never to dare hit her again.” .
Because he was abusing and torturing her for a very long time (as per the story). This was a deviation from the norm of the Muslim culture in Pakistan because most of their dramas and movies subjugate women, and glorify the violence.
Apparently this scene generated a lot of controversy in a misogynistic country, and they immediately pulled the show off the air. I personally think that bloke deserves to be hit because he was behaving like a jackass.

CAIR made sure that any Donation service I put up, like PayPal, Stripe, etc. got a nasty letter from them calling BNI a hate site and that they shouldn’t be associated with it. This happened with 5 services I tried to use.

I guess I could have sued them for defamation because they did me cause me to lose money, but I doubt that I could prove it.
