Contrary to popular belief, many Muslims actually GET FAT while fasting during the holy month of Ramadan
A long time ago, I became friendly with a Muslim girl at University (who was actually quite nice). She followed Ramadamadingdong religiously and claimed to put on weight during that period.
I know this is a sample size of 1 but it consolidates the above: muslimes do NOT starve themselves during ramadamadingdong!
(I hope this comment posts because my comments on the last 5 or 6 posts don’t seem to be getting through, and I don’t get the opportunity to comment on BNI posts as much as I would like).
Can confirm. I actually used to live with muslims, and after knowing them and their muslim friends, all but one complained of gaining weight during Ramadan. The only one who didn’t get fat, was the one who ate lunch.
I lived in Malaysia years ago and I have seen the vast amount of food put out for these people to stuff themselves with as soon as the Sun goes down, attacking food like wild animals, as if they been starving in the Desert for weeks…I often go with Lunch… I just dont think of that as a spiritual practice.

My question is, in the Middle East Is it halal to have sex with the animal before slaughtering it and having it for a late supper? 🙂
