India’s ruling party, BJP, has suspended Nupur Sharma, who has been receiving death threats from outraged, overly sensitive Muslims for simply stating a fact: ‘The Prophet Muhammad married a 6-year-old child when he was 54.’ Sharma has been at the receiving end of the virulent hatred and death threats from Muslim extremists and ‘far-left-secular’ journalists for expressing her views on the ‘paedophile’ behavior of the Prophet Muhammad.
OpIndia (h/t LH) On June 5, Bharatiya Janata Party suspended National Spokesperson Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal from the party’s primary membership. The development came after a recent press release issued by the party. The party respects all religions and is against any ideology that insults or demeans any sect or religion.
In its suspension letter, the BJP told Sharma that she has expressed views contrary to the party’s on various matters which violate the party’s constitution.
Yet Sharma simply spoke the truth. According to OpIndia on May 28, 2022, “she pointed out that Prophet Muhammad, at age 54, had married six-year-old Aisha, and he had consummated his marriage when she was nine years old.” Even the Islamic Hadiths confirm this:
“The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).
During the debate on Times Now on the disputed Gyanvapi structure, Nupur Sharma argued that since people are mocking the Hindu faith repeatedly, then they can also mock other religions referring to Islamic beliefs. Taking that video out of context, Zubair shared it with his 464,000 Twitter followers declaring Nupur a rabid communal hatemonger and someone who can incite riots.
OpIndiaHours after Alt News ‘fact checker’ Mohammed Zubair unleashed his troll army on Nupur Sharma, the BJP spokesperson started receiving death threats on the micro-blogging platform.
The national spokesperson for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a leader of the party’s Delhi unit, Nupur Sharma has been receiving multiple death threats on the social media platform Twitter. There were multiple tweets threatening her, some even calling for her beheading after Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair shared her video with a twisted commentary to encourage trolls to attack her.
Sharing the threats, Nupur tweeted:
In the tweets attached by Nupur, there are open threats to her life. Even though she has shared only 4 tweets, there are several similar tweets against her ever since Zubair’s dog-whistling encouraging attacks against her.
The dog-whistling against Nupur Sharma was first initiated by alleged fact-checker Mohammed Zubair, who shared an edited version of the video to drive a hate campaign against her. Other Muslim extremists, masquerading as journalists, also came out of the woodwork to incite violence against the BJP spokesperson.
A snippet of one such disturbing discussion about ‘killing’ Sharma was recently conducted by Islamists on a Twitter space titled, ‘Democracy, Freedom of Speech and Blasphemy.’ A screen recording of the same was shared by a Twitter user named ‘Anti Hypocrisy.’
At the very onset, a Muslim could be heard lamenting that there is no punishment for ‘blasphemy’ in India and how it encourages ‘them’ (Hindus) to allegedly mock the Islamic Faith.
He then went on to cite scholars and fatwas where the killing of the blasphemy accused becomes indispensable, as per Islam. “Take a small example: If a person says that the skin colour of Prophet Muhammad was black, then, the killing of such a person becomes an obligation,” he informed.
He also slammed the ‘moderate’ Muslims for not condoning barbaric punishment for acts of blasphemy. “Even raising your voice in front of the Prophet is a sin, which you may not have realised while committing the act. And you will not even get the opportunity to express regret or seek forgiveness for it,” he concluded how Islam is ‘protective’ about the honour of the last Messenger.
I guess it is all about the economic impact. For a full 10 days the Indian government kept mum about this lady’s statement. And her words were factual, and straight from the holy quran. Then various Muslim nations started weighing in. A couple at least summoned their Indian ambassadors to lodge their protest. And at least one pulled all Indian products from their market. The same nations who look the other way at the real atrocities committed on fellow Muslims by China. Shockingly the Indian government capitulated and put out a statement condemning this brave woman, calling her a fringe element (she is a spokesperson for their BJP), and suspending her from the party. Expected far better from PM Modi!

Why does the world only care about Muslims? Christians in China have suffered severe persecution, murders and extreme suffering since the communists seized power in China. Christians are the most persecuted for their faith in the world.
If Muslims find truthful comments about the so- called Prophet Mohammed as offensive; they must also find Islam, the Koran, and Mohammed offensive but act the opposite out of being nutty loyal.
And they say BJP is “islamophobic”. If this is “islamophobic” then what is “pro-islamic”?

Sharma’s comments cannot be controversial since they pertain to Mohamed the First’s marriage to six year old Aisha which was clearly described in the quran itself. Notwithstanding that the BJP should have stood by her and not booted her from the party. If India, the world’s largest democracy, is to maintain itself as a democracy it must champion free speech. It seems only the muslims claim a right to be offended. Outrage only flows one way. The BJP and the Indian government must confront impingements on free speech and not surrender to false claims of offense. The solution to offensive speech is simply more speech. One of the muslim over-reactions which called for Sharma’s death cited as an example of suitable killing for blasphamy cited its appropriateness when anyone refers to Mohamed the First as having had black skin. This seems to me to reflect clear racism implicit in the islamic theology. Many biblical scholars regularly speculate on what Jesus of Nazareth really looked like. No such speculations are considered racist.

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news but it seems Nupur Sharma’s a DEAD (WO)MAN WALKING. My fellow Islamic zealots didn’t spare the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists or the Danish ones either, so Nupur’s chances of survival are abysmally small.
As we speak, thousands and thousands of Muslim volunteers in different countries have already vowed to behead Nupur Sharma. It turns out Nupur has apologized for her remarks and retracted all her statements (that’s good enough as far as I’m concerned but not all Muslims will share my views). Many Muslims are indeed seething in anger and they will not be satisfied till something bad happens.
I would definitely pray to Allah (swt) to keep Nupur (and her family members) safe. It would also help if she can change her name, identity, and gets a plastic surgery too.

Fun secret: I conceived these two after watching a Mexican Western movie together with my wife. They’re just like a Texas Western but more cartoon-like. Lots of slapstick comedy. As you know, I’m a Spanish enthusiast, and sometimes feel like a real Mafioso.
So “Orlando” and “Rodrigo” are doing pretty good (that’s the pet names we gave them inspired by all that Mexican food and movies. Although they’ll get proper Muslim names eventually, I’m going to call them Orlando and Rodrigo (and you’re welcome to do that as well). It’s the cutest thing I’ve done in a very long time. 🙂 I bought one of those ultrasound listening devices that monitor fetal heart beats.
I expect both Orlando and Rodrigo to be stout, chubby kids. Perhaps that’s what you get for having a fat wife. But I am tense it’s going to be a slightly difficult delivery (the obst. has assured us it will be fine but she may have to be put under anesthesia for a while. That’s what made me scramble my head. I hope it’s normal. Don’t blame me I come from a BACKWOODS culture so there’s always a first time.)

Did you know that infertility is a huge problem around the world? Couples are desperate to have kids and many try repeatedly with IFV over and over again and still have no success. To pay for very expensive IVF, many have gone deep into debt and/or mortgaged their homes trying to have children.
Some, after trying a number of times with IVF to get pregnant, suffer the heartbreak and grief of miscarriages.
