Here in the good ol’ USA, we STILL have a lot of fake healers. Those guys are everywhere and have been around for a long time. Yes, Oral Roberts was one of them. So was Peter Popoff, who was exposed by skeptic James Randi. I remember another one by the name of Thea Jones. And there are many, many more.
What, a faith healer without a collection basket? That’s unusual.
Was the man who was supposedly healed, unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair before the “healing”.
Or was he a strong, healthy male?
There were some fantastic, short videos on YouTube on filthy rich multi millionaire FAKE Christian healers. Unfortunately I can’t find any now. If anyone can find any, please post it. They were so good!
I definitely remember Oral Roberts!
Many years ago when I lived in California, I attended a church that believed in fake Christian HEALERS. Along with a very large number of other churches we went to a huge, BENNY HINN healing meeting.
Outside in the parking lot, Christians handed us leaflets warning that Benny Hinn was a false Christian preacher — a fake healer. We all went inside to the healing meeting anyway.
The prosperity gospel is horrible, revolting, disgusting and completely UNBiblical.
Many are desperate for healing.
