Pakistani Muslim ‘halal’ butcher in Karachi gets sacrificed by the bull whose throat he was about to cut.
DR During the Islamic festival of sacrifice, Eid al-Adha, cows, sheep, and goats goats are slaughtered en masse, by both professionals butchers and amateurs. They do this by cutting the throat of fully-conscious animals and hanging them up to bleed out until they die a slow and agonizing death, which is witnessed by the animals awaiting a similar fate
But one cow, in a desperate effort to save his life, manages to bolt away from the butcher who was desperately trying to hang onto the rope. As a result the butcher was killed during the runaway chase.
No doubt the cow was eventually caught and put to death, but at least he had the satisfaction of taking one of his torturers with him.
