Pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel activist Huwaida Arraf’s campaign for a seat on Capitol Hill fizzled out with an embarrassing loss to Democrat rival Carl Marlinga. Arraf promoted violence against Israelis and is the co-founder of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), an anti-Israel group on the FBI Watch List for its ties to terrorists, and was a key figure in the Hamas-sponsored Gaza flotilla campaign.
Arraf, who is of Palestinian descent, came in a distant fourth place in the Democratic primary election to represent Michigan’s 10th Congressional district. With 93 percent of the ballots counted, Judge Carl Marlinga won 48% compared to Arraf’s 13%.

Arraf was an organizer and spokesperson for the 2010 Free Gaza Flotilla, which deliberately provoked a violent confrontation with the Israeli Navy when it attempted to breach the blockade of Gaza. It was loaded up with weapons and military equipment for the terrorist group Hamas.
The headline-garnering stunt was also arranged with the help of the Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Aid (IHH), a Turkish group that has ties to Hamas and donated funds to the terrorist organization.
Arraf was also on the legal team for Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, who planned a 1969 Jerusalem terrorist attack that killed two and injured several others.
United with Israel Arraf’s candidacy raised fears of BDS in-roads in Capitol Hill. The 46-year-old lawyer was born in Detroit to an Arab Israeli father and a Palestinian mother. Arraf also holds Israeli citizenship.
She was one of the earliest members of the International Solidarity Movement, which spearheaded the Gaza flotilla campaigns, and encouraged foreign nationals to antagonize Israeli soldiers and even serve as human shields for Palestinian fugitive terrorists.
Arraf was a key figure in the Gaza flotilla campaigns that sought to break Israel’s naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, personally participating in flotillas in 2008 and 2010.
In 2002, Arraf and other ISM volunteers acted as human shields for Palestinian terrorists barricaded inside Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity. Years later, a Fatah official admitted in the so-called church siege was “orchestrated by Yasser Arafat’s Palestinian Authority,” Ynet reported.
“The conspiracy was to make a siege and put all the fighters inside the church so Israel would make the siege. People from the Palestinian Authority collaborated with this conspiracy,” said Eiman Abu Eita, a Fatah representative who was Beit Sahour’s al-Aqsa Brigades chief. Eita was quoted in a book by Mideast reporter Aaron Klein.
When asked by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency in February to explain her use of the word “genocide” in the face of growing Palestinian demographics in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, Arraf insisted that killing people “is not the only form of genocide.”
“It absolutely needs to be looked into whether Israel is committing genocide,” Arraf said.
“It’s not just about getting rid of the numbers of people; it is about erasing people’s identity. There are different forms of genocide. You have social genocide, and you have the traditional meaning of genocide — when we understand that there are mass killings to completely annihilate people. But it is not the only form,” Arraf insisted without further elaboration.
She was endorsed by fellow Palestinian-American Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who is also from Detroit.

it’s been reported that the loser in a Michigan congressional district, huwaida arraf, had been the lawyer for terrorist rasmeah odeh. that is on top of arraf’s associations with radical pro-terror anti-Jewish organizations like the “international solidarity movement.” Michigan and the US Congress has indeed dodged a bullet. the viewership of BNI ought to know about rasmeah odeh. she was convicted in Israel of involvement in the notorious Sbarro Pizzaria bombing that killed many including mothers and their babies. she received a life sentence but was freed in a prisoner swap. she then came to the US where she again worked for terrorist causes by fundraising, speaking to naiive audiences and other questionable activities. when the US government realized what she was doing and what a danger she was, they arrested her here on immigration fraud charges. she was subsequently deported. you cannot call huwaida arraf a muslim fundamentalist because she claims to be a christian. you cannot call her a palestinian nationalist because since the dawn of time there never was any independant arab state called palestine. it simply never existed on the pages of history. but what arraf is is a virulent anti-jewish bigot with close connections to dangrous international terrorists. she should never be a candidate for public office, she should be watched very carefully by law enforcement. but good luck on this with merrick garland’s DOJ and Christopher Wray’s FBI. it just wont happen! the democrat party has fallen under the control of a hard marxist element that is ideologically driven to destroy the US and the West.

I would be glad to see people stop using the term Palestinian and rather use the proper name of these muslims as they are Arabs and have always been Arabs at least up until an EGYPTIAN renamed them as Palestinians as far back as 1967…. If such silly silly wee lassies like this one speaks of genocide I wonder if she is aware of the FACT that there are more Arabs living in Israel today than 70 years ago and so if they are indeed committing genocide then they sure as hell aint doing a very good of it.
