Having had this website kicked off PayPal several years ago for “wrong think” and from designated terrorist group CAIR’s urging, this is music to my ears.
But wait, there’s more!
They say PayPal is losing so many accounts, that they are now NOT letting you cancel easily.

If Paypal won’t let you close the account, then here is the easy 5 step method that a friend of mine used recently:
1) Most importantly, make sure your Paypal account balance is $0.00 and that there are no payments already in progress before you proceed.
2) Get a pre-paid Visa / Mastercard and make it the primary method of payment for your Paypal account. Ensure any other card or bank account listed there is removed.
3) Cancel any standing order or direct debit associated with Paypal through your bank.
4) Spend any remaining credit on the pre-paid card and then afterwards cut it up and recycle it responsibly.
I’ve been following this story quite closely. Guiltily I just purchased a half-nautilus shell I really wanted using Paypal because someone else had it in their basket and I did not have time to seek other options. I’m definitely planning on ditching Paypal as soon as I can find a viable alternative that will guarantee my safety as a buyer.
I heard Paypal has revoked this message claiming it was made in error (yeah, pull the other one) but they are pushing their boundaries and I don’t want people snooping around my Internet activities and stealing money from my bank account because I don’t agree with their opinions. Paypal, what you did is irredeemable and you deserve to be busted for it.
Leonie, when PayPal kicked BNI off their service, there was more than $3000 in my account. When I asked for it to be returned to my bank account, they reminded me of their TOS, which says they are allowed to keep any balance you have with them for up to 180 days and there’s nothing you can do about it. They kept it for nearly 4 months before returning it to me, no doubt as punishment for all the ‘wrong think’ on BNI.
I canceled Paypal on October 12; had no problem. They told me I could sign up again. Why would I do something so insane?
Glad to be separated from Paypal. So many options to pay today. I hope they get the message as the cancellations keep escalating.
Whatever happened to companies staying away from politics and just doing business? So many companies are going political and that, in many cases, can do more harm to their business than good.
Well, Paypal finally is getting what it desires – and has earned by years of actual ever-growing politically leftist learnings. Golden Bye-bye bags for everyone involved in this latest putsch will probably not help this time, and they have no one to blame but themselves.
PayPal’s latest Authoritarian move was the “Last Straw” for me; after multiple attempts to “delete my data and close my account,” I finally succeeded. PayPal did not make it easy, however! Never give up—these big tech companies can be likened to government bureaucracies; they make everything easy for themselves and difficult for the consumer/ citizens. I had my account for over 20 years.—good riddance.
PayPal has very high, unreasonable charges. So if someone pays me $1000, I’d have to pay $80 as a commission.
More and more people are switching to alternatives such as Payoneer and Skrill.
I use one of the best ways to send money abroad.
1. Use a big banknote or two ($50 or 100).
2. Roll the banknote in the form of a cigarette.
3. Put the cigarette inside a sheet of carbon paper. Well any coated paper would do but for some reasons, carbon paper is still used in money orders.
4. Put the paper inside an envelope. You can add a small greeting card to make the “bulk” of the consignment.
5. Add sufficient postage stamps.
6. Mail it.
That’s all. Works internationally. I know this is how drug dealers still get their drop’s worth.

EXCELLENT NEWS, especially since PayPal wrongly, unjustly, and devoid of all ethics; persecuted BNI and other good people and organizations.
Designated MUSLIM TERRORIST Organization CAIR, will be ENRAGED!
I have never used PayPal and never wanted to use it.
I have no idea why so many companies want people to use it.

To make matters worse they apologized… kind of. Then they changed the language, it’s worse!

It sounds exactly like FACEBOOK censoring good people and good organizations, except they haven’t started fining people.
