Benjamin Netanyahu appeared set to return to power on Wednesday, saying his right-wing camp was on the cusp of a great election win, after exit polls predicted his bloc gaining a parliamentary majority. “We have won a huge vote of confidence from the people of Israel,” a smiling Netanyahu told cheering supporters at his Likud party election headquarters. “We are on the brink of a very big victory.”

Reuters As actual results began trickling in, current Prime Minister Lapid stopped short at conceding the election and said he would wait until the final count. Exit polls late on Tuesday predicted his camp would take 53-54 Knesset seats, far behind Netanyahu.
“The people want a different way. They want security,” Netanyahu said, “they want power, not weakness … they want diplomatic wisdom, but with firmness.”
Lifted by a strong showing from his far-right and religious allies, Netanyahu was on course for a comeback, according to Israeli television exit polls late on Tuesday, which predicted his bloc of four parties taking 62 of the Knesset’s 120 seats.
I love Bibi……..praying he wins…….. May our Lord be with you
He won!
So wonderful to have GOOD NEWS! We all need it!
Go Bibi!
I pray and hope that the outcome of the Israeli election is a precursor to America’s midterm elections whereby The US can be again put straight with conservative leadership in the Congress.
Me, too. But not only the Israeli election. Italy and even Sweden have both elected wight wing governments in the past month or two.
Beware of Sweden. They want to join NATO. That is called poking the Russian bear. The Swedes do not need that, it is only trouble. When you join such a big club, you become a sacrificial lamb. It is like the EU. I noticed they never ask their citizens what they want, the leaders just plow ahead.
Good news!
good omen for us all ! conservatives can have no greater Allie , now I see a final showdown with the evil incarnate existing in Iran . Israel is very wise in her choice of a leader for these times … God grant we here in the U.S will show the same
Mr. Netanyahu is still a warrior who fought the Moslems in the six-day war of 1967 A.D.
He, more than most people, understands that the only way to tame Moslems is the exercise of sheer, overwhelming, brute force on the part of non-Koranimals.
So very happy Bibi will be returned! Now for nthe decimation of the democrats in the mid-terms! Praying. Love to you both Bonni, Alastair & Grada.
OMG! What a nice surprise. Haven’t seen you in ages. Hope you’ve been well. Don’t be a stranger.
Israel has the highest percentage of Muslim Arabs in the western countries
What great news. Doing a happy dance that Bibi will be Prime Minister again. Can’t happen soon enough.
