My first wife and daughters in Pakistan don’t wear the hijab. But their views of non-Muslims are obnoxious– my daughters have been totally brainwashed. I don’t think you can undo that kind of radical Islam.
My present wife wears a hijab in S’pore although it’s not a requirement in her home country Uzbekistan. In fact noone wears it there. She just wears it out of novelty.
But I am proud to say she does not have any radical views.
