In Egypt, a groom files for divorce from his 16-year-old bride right after their wedding night, accusing her of not being a virgin.
The girl’s father makes her take a forensic medical test which proves she is, in fact, still a virgin, then posts the report online which goes viral. Unbelievably, he decides to promote this finding in public, by hoisting her up on his shoulders and parading her around the streets, which draws a crowd, loudly proclaiming her virginity is still intact. After that, the estranged husband agrees to take her back, but her father gets arrested for marrying off his underage daughter.

As I’m sure all BNI readers should know, this is a very serious matter in Islamoland, and the girl could have been honor killed. At the least, no one would marry her ever & her family couldn’t show their face anywhere if that rumor were not put down.
