The United Nations General Assembly just passed a resolution to mark what Palestinians have dubbed “Nakba Day,” recognizing the Palestinian twisted version of events that depict the founding of the modern state of Israel in 1948 as a ‘catastrophe.’
FYI: there is no such thing as a “Palestinian” people, a name created by Yasser Arafat in the 1960’s for Arab Muslims in the area.
Rabid anti-Israel hate-spewing Congressmulim Rashida Tlaib introduced the same resolution, which is going nowhere, in the US Congress in May 2022.
Israel Unwired Democratic Congress members led by Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., introduced a resolution last week calling for U.S. recognition of the “Nakba,” a term meaning “catastrophe” that is typically used by “palestinian” Arabs to refer to the establishment of the state of Israel. The resolution was submitted a week and a half after Israeli Independence Day, a day the Arab Muslim anti-Israel world call the Nakba day.
The resolution calls for the U.S. to “commemorate the Nakba through official recognition and remembrance,” while claiming that this “refers not only to a historical event but to an ongoing process of Israel’s expropriation of Palestinian land and its dispossession of the Palestinian people that continues to this day.”
The irony is that the so-called “catastrophe” that befell Arabs upon Israel’s establishment was a direct result of the Arab Muslim world launching a war against Israel in 1948 to massacre all the Jews and throw us into the sea. The Arab Muslim warring nations told the Arabs to leave their homes temporarily in order to clean out the area for them to massacre the Jews. The fledgling country of Israel miraculously won that war, without any international support, and the Arabs who ran away from their homes lost their homes. The “nakba” is the day they commemorate their failure to annihalate the Jews, and they want world recognition for their failure to successfully kill us.
The other interesting fact is that there were no “palestinian” nation that fought in that war. Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and other Arab Muslim countries attacked Israel. There was no Arab people called “palestinians” back in 1948. It was the Jews who were called palestinians, who held British Mandate of Palestine passports!
At the same time, the Arab Muslim world persecuted and exited 800,000 Jewish residents. Yet, Israel accepted them all as Israeli citizens, while the 700,000 Arab Muslims who lost their homes because they listened to the Arab Muslim countries to leave their homes, were treated as refugees living in refugee camps in those same Arab Muslim countries, still today, 74 years later. They have not been living under “oppression and racism” from Israel, but from their own Arab Muslim brethren including the Palestinian Authority and Hamas!
Hence, the whole nakba narrative is a lie that US politicians must call out and squash.

Israel is one of the most peaceful, stable, and productive nations in the Middle East. And this for a nation that is at constant gunpoint. It has one of the best human rights records of any Middle Eastern nation (not perfect, but better than others, considering again that it is a nation at constant gunpoint). It has a thriving culture scene, that includes Arabs and Muslims and many other peoples. It has made contributions to science, technology, and culture, humanities and the fine arts. It has one the world’s highest GDP (Gross Domestic Product), and one of the best per capita incomes in the world. And Arabs in Israel, yes, Arabs, have some of the highest standards of living in the Middle East, if not in the entire world, and certainly better than Arabs living in neighboring nations or in the Palestinian territories, under Hamas or the Palestinian Authority. And Arab populations have actually GROWN in Israel and Palestinian territories since the 1940’s, so if the Jews were engaging in some sort of genocide, they certainly SUCK at it. If they were doing genocide, you would expect FEWER Arabs, not MORE.
That is SOME catastrophe! I wish more catastrophes like that would happen! The world would be a far better place.

I think there needs to be a day of mourning every year on the anniversary of October 24, 1945; the founding of the United Nations.
And to end the UN’s white colonialist past, all the United Nations buildings should be moved to non-white nations and cities, perhaps moving them to Nouakchott, Mauritania, Cape Town, South Africa, Khartoum, Sudan, Baghdad, Iraq, and Islamabad, Pakistan?

Undoubtedly, Israel is a very special corner of the world. How do I know that it is special? Because God has chosen it to be so. That’s why so many over the centuries, at the behest of the Enemy who hates all that which God loves, have tried so hard to take it away from the Jewish people or to make the land less than what it actually is.
Tuesday marked the 75th anniversary of the United Nations’ acceptance of the partition plan of the land that was at that time called Palestine – a name given to it by the Romans after they decimated it in the second century. The plan was for the land to be divided between two groups of people. For the Jews there would be a Jewish state, and for the Arabs there would be an Arab state.
Notice the words that were used. There was no mention of Palestinians because there was no such thing as Palestinians. There were simply Jews and Arabs who lived in Palestine. The idea of a Palestinian came later, creating an artificial grouping of people for the purpose of being a political weapon against a Jewish State.
The Palestinian plan worked, and today this group of people are determined that the land of Israel not be a Jewish state or an Arab state but a Palestinian state. This is not at all in keeping with the UN decision seventy-five years ago. But more importantly, it is not in keeping with the judgment of the San Remo conference of 1920. At this seminal conference, the decision was made to adopt the Balfour declaration that promised the Jews a Jewish homeland in what was then Palestine. The conference also adopted the Balfour declaration’s intended borders which included both Israel and Jordan of today. It was only in 1922 that the British sliced off Transjordan and gave it to the Hashemite family. Later, the League of Nations resolved to adopt the decision of the San Remo conference with the amended borders. Thus, it is still valid today, since the UN, born in October 1945, agreed that all resolutions of its predecessor are effective and valid.
So, despite what you hear, the land of Israel is not stolen. The Israelis are not occupiers or squatters on someone else’s land. We are here legally based on international resolutions. But even more importantly, we are here because this is the land God promised to Abraham and his descendants thousands of years ago. And because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, His promises still stand true today.
Genesis 13:14-17
And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”

And use the media like an elite fighting force.

None of the so-called Palestinians were forced off of their land in 1948. The Muftis convinced them that they would be slaughtered, and their wives and daughters would be raped if they remained in Israel.

What is forgottrn is Israel invited the so called refugees to come live in the nascent state in peace and prosperity . They replied no. Palestinians created their own Nakba. The first Nakba was when Syrians living in what is paliland 1914 to 1920 wanted to return to greater syria their homeland. The Ottoman Turks said no. Now the Un is pushing hard to get hostile reactions from those anti Israel arabs. Looks like the UN is looking to start another was against Israel. Any wars started by UN and the arabs will be over in a flash
