CAIR’s Maryland office and the Maryland Muslim Prisoner Project were joined by Prince George’s County Muslim Council and Justice for All at Jumah prayer followed by a news conference outside the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections to demand special religious accommodations for Muslim inmates to congregate in a special room for Friday prayers, be served Halal meals only, and to wear religious garb, including hijabs.

CAIR “No one should ever have the SWAT team called on them for exercising their constitutionally protected right to peacefully assemble for prayer,” said CAIR’s Maryland Director Zainab Chaudry. “Incarcerated Muslims are especially vulnerable to having their rights trampled over, and prisons have an obligation to make sure that they can practice their faith free from discrimination and intimidation.”
“We call on administrators at Prince George’s Corrections to green light these basic accommodations and uphold their legal obligation to protect their rights.”
She noted that CAIR offers an educational toolkit, called “A Correctional Institution’s Guide to Islamic Religious Practices,” to help correctional officers and administrators gain a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.

That way they can easily convert more prisoners
I remember as a kid in the early 1960’s, there was a saying; don’t do the crime, don’t do the time. If these criminals had not committed a crime or more likely crimes, they would not have been incarcerated. Also, by being giving these criminals all the rights of the unholy book, does that mean they are allowed to kill non-Muslims in the facility?
So much for separation of church and state when it comes to Muslimes. They never stop pushing and making demands. Such victims, even when convicted of crimes!
