By pussifying the methods (kinder, gentler) Drill Sergeants use to train recruits, the Army’s pool of new enlistees has already dropped by 40%, and indications are that it will continue to decline as long as leftist “wokeness” dictates military policy. Not surprising, when you consider that the Left would like to get rid of our military altogether.
The Army’s Drill Sergeant Academy has adopted a new strategy where the old days of breaking down recruits with yelling and push-ups have been replaced with a more collaborative and respectful tone. Drill sergeant candidates are taught how to effectively lead recruits through physical readiness training, teach basic rifle management, and organize a culminating event that tests students on all of the skills they gained during the training.
Here’s an example of the new “woke” U.S. Army recruiting commercials. A barrage of negative comments on the Army’s controversial “woke” recruitment ad, centered around a female soldier with two moms, has forced them to shut down the video’s YouTube comment section for the “safety and well-being of our soldiers.”
American Prophet Certainly, our foremost adversary, the communist Chinese, are not allowing their military officials to waste time training their soldiers on correct pronoun usage, CRT or exposing them to drag queen shows. It has become so ridiculous that in June, a drag queen event was planned at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany to promote “Gay Pride Month.” The drag queens were scheduled to read stories to the children of military service members in the library of the base. After much criticism, the ill-advised event was canceled.
In July, at the Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, a “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summer Festival” was held. Initially, a performance by drag queen “Harpy Daniels” was scheduled, although it was eventually canceled.
The situation is so problematic that U.S. Representative Glenn Grothman (R-WI) has introduced a bill in Congress to prevent the Defense Department from “organizing, promoting, or hosting drag shows as a means of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.”
The “unwoke” Marine Corps, on the other hand, has no problem attracting recruits. ‘Girly men’ need not apply.
