A mob of Muslims in the Italian city of Florence blocked a local bailiff from repossessing an illegal mosque, with hundreds of people preventing police from entering. A bailiff and local police attempted to take back a former garage in Piazza dei Ciompi illegally being used as a mosque after the owner of the property refused to renew the contract with its operator due to money being owed.
Breitbart (h/t Nita) On Friday morning, hundreds gathered in front of the mosque to stop police from entering the premises, as well as the local bailiff and legal representation for the property owner, the newspaper Il Giornale reports.
But the faithful and the imam do not intend to leave, at least until they have another place to pray. The authorities who were supposed to organize the eviction this morning found themselves faced with hundreds of people arranged in two rows to prevent the police from accessing the premises.
Florence imam Izzedin Elzir commented on the attempted eviction, saying: “We do not know if there will be a postponement of the eviction, we are here to pray. We will not leave until we find an alternative.”
Matteo Salvini, Italian deputy prime minister and leader of the League (Lega) party, criticised the mosque, saying: “If I illegally occupied a shop or an apartment for a year and a half, the public force would ask me to release them, this is how it works in any civilized country, Italian or foreign”, the minister said, adding: “The respect for legality required of any other religious denomination, or professional practice, is absolute.
Meanwhile, just this morning, the League organized a “garrison to affirm an important point: the right to property” in Florence. To explain the reasons for the initiative, the leader of the League in the City Council, Federico Bussolin: “The removal of the abusive mosque must be done. We have been talking about it since November, someone accused our garrison for legality of being out of fashion as an issue. The right to the eviction of a property occupied by a judge’s ruling is not out of fashion”. Federico Bussolin, a local city councillor in Florence and member of the League, added: “The eviction of the illegal mosque must be done.”
Italy’s new PM Giorgia Meloni has vowed to crack down on mosques and madrassas. (Italy is her country and Christians living in Italy have a right to decide if they want to allow mosques or not….just as every Islamic country does with non-Muslim houses of worship – totally banned in most Muslim countries).
Similar scenes have been seen elsewhere in Europe, such as in France in 2017 when Muslims in the city of Clichy took to the streets to protest a local government move to remove them from a building they had occupied and used as a mosque.
Last year, another report revealed that a radical mosque in Marseilles had also been ordered to close several times over the last five years — but it simply ignored the authorities.

All terrorism centers should be burnt to the ground.
Muslims should not be allowed anything. Only when the Muslim submit ought they be given anything, and they have the firm idea that it can be taken away at anytime – for any reason.
All these Muslims need be arrested for processing out of the country. Something about the same for any actual citizen too.
But – don’t rent to Muslims – period.
