Jaevion Riley, a 7-year-old boy (photo below) from Manchester, New Hampshire, who was severely beaten, tortured and burned by his father, Murtadah Mohammad, last week has now died.
Boston (h/t Don S) The boy, Jaevion Riley, was brought to a local hospital after police were called to an address on Eastern Avenue on Jan. 17. Officers received a report that the boy was badly burned, unconscious, and not breathing.
He was soon brought to another hospital for more advanced care, where medical professionals found additional injuries, Manchester police said.
Jaevion Riley suffered second-degree burns, a fractured skull, broken ribs, and a collapsed lung, friends wrote on a GoFundMe fundraiser that they set up to support the child and his family. The boy had to be resuscitated twice, they added.
Murtadah Mohammad, the 25-year-old father of the child, was arrested last Thursday and charged with one count of First Degree Assault, two counts of Second Degree Assault, two counts of Falsifying Physical Evidence, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Now he will face murder charges.
Mohammad initially told authorities that he had been in the shower when his son sustained the injuries, according to court documents obtained by NBC10 Boston. But police found no evidence to suggest that someone had recently been in the shower, and noted other inconsistencies in his statement.
Mohammad later told police that he used hot water and force to discipline his son, NBC10 reported. They boy’s mother, Rainah Riley, told NBC10 that hospital workers described her son’s injuries as “torture, mutilation, and brutalization.”
She also told the station that Mohammad had gotten joint custody of Jaevion somewhat recently, and that she tried reporting signs of abuse to the New Hampshire Division for Children, Youth and Families.
The child is in heaven, not in hell where muslims go. So if there is a bright side, it’s that.
I have smacked my 6-year old boy so many times Rehan had this foul habit of putting things in his mouth; once swallowed a marble ball. That could have been fatal.
Gave him a solid beating to send a clear message. Never had to worry about him swallowing stuff again.
Rehan’s far more disciplined now: makes his own bed, does his homework on time, and acts responsible. I gave him a beating last year when he used the f-word which I don’t know where he picked up from (maybe neighborhood kids).
I haven’t permitted him access to any electronic devices so he doesn’t have screen addiction disorder (SAD) which is becoming far too common among the kids of today’s generation.

You need to be turned in for child abuse. A light spanking is plenty but your giddy attitude towards proudly beating makes you no better than those muslims who murder. I would happily turn you in. You are appalling.

you are truly a child abuser…to beat them into submission…and that is what the Moslem do with children and Women…this man made political ideology needs to be outlawed and destroyed.
