What do all expect from and INTERnational socialist, they do all and give all to all except their own people or country. As somebody who dwells in Canada, I can confirm that our Prime Minister has turned Canada’s parliament into a socially liberal funhouse.
Recently a bill is being pushed to outlaw “Holocaust Denial.”
Regardless of what one’s view of the Holocaust is, this bill is problematic since it’s very vague in it’s definition and it’s a clear violation of academic freedom, free expression, open debate, and free speech since merely presenting an opposing view that affirms that it happened but disputes the 6m figure would be banned (thus stifling open debate, and exchange & discussion of ideas which are unpopular, and this is a blatant violation of free expression and free speech).
The reason why free speech and free expression is so important is BECAUSE it protects unpopular speech. In fact, censorship of speech that is unpopular is what happens under Nazism/Communism.
I’m a Slavic man, and Slavs were targeted in the Holocaust as well, and I try to be consistent on free speech including for those I hate or despise, since free speech is not just speech I agree with or like).
Anyway, that was a bit off topic, but it’s a testament to how much of a liberal funhouse our parliament has become.
