Don’t mess with Texas! About a decade ago they used to hold pig races next to a site where a Mosque was being proposed. The races were hugely popular and I doubt the Mosque took shape!

Ramadan follows the Moon calendar. Soooo, the month of Ramadan moves within the months of the Gregorean calendar. This is totally against the way America and the seasons, etc of our calendar works.. As such, not only is Islam 180 degrees opposite of Christianity, but there is a huge discrepancy within the calendar.
Also, some of the poorest countries are ruled by Islam laws etc.
I just called this TX state Senator’s office to congratulate him for having the balls to say the truth about his observations of Islam, and his NO vote. The staffer who answered the phone, said they had to unplug their phones because they had so many death threats coming in response to the Senator’s speech and vote.
He was very appreciative of my phone call.
The bill passed the TX Senate. Let’s get on the phones to make sure the governor vetoes this Islamopandering bill.

How can you have a country that is based around 2 different world religions? Which is seemingly what “liberals” are doing (on the surface). If you look at Britain where the TV is always talking to us about Ramadan and Eid and stuff, that’s a model for what Dems want to do to America isn’t it.
Apart from the huge differences between the religions that make it impossible, you also have to consider how “crowded” the calendar would be with different observances and whatnot.
We all know how demented “liberals” are their neverending love for Islam does not come from a good or sane place at all.
I was just commenting from a “practical” point of view and disregarding the actual madness of it.
Good for Texas. We need more Saints to stand up against the Luciferian moon idolatry known as Islam. Religious freedom for Muslims and also separation of religion and state (i.e. total state neutrality in religious matters, what the early Baptists stood for when they came to America to escape the Jesuit-Papist persecution in Europe).

Typically, such moves as accommodating religious beliefs and holidays of minority religions usually is out of economic considerations. In Philadelphia, there is a large Jewish population, and even though they are a minority, they do actually represent a large number of both teachers, staff and students, and the problem was that during major Jewish holidays, many teachers, other staff, and also Jewish students would simply take off from school, and thus many schools would be crippled with both a lack of students and staff taking off for a holiday. Thus a decision was made just to shut schools down on Jewish holidays and a few holidays are observed including first day of Passover, Rosh Hashonah, and one or two others.
I guess there are simply not enough Muslims in Texas that would allow for Islamic holidays to be observed. However, in some communities, and I suspect places such as Minneaoplis which has a large Muslim population, shutting down for Islamic holidays is more feasible and practical. In major cities throughout the US this will become more of an issue where there are large concentrations of Muslim people, especially if there are a large enough population of them where, if Muslims just simply take off from school, staffing and students will be affected. Even if there a large number of students that take off, it would be impractical to keep school open if few students show up.

New Jersey has the New York City metro area and the Philadelphia metro areas bordering it, and these cities have lots of Muslims.

I hope this law will last. But, laws can be changed. America is slowly losing the battle against the muslim savages. They are infiltrating every government in the country. Local, city, state and federal government.
We still have some very stupid people in elected positions here in Texas,they vote to celebrate the not very holy month of Ramadamn,Moslems try an kill an bomb as many infields as they can,the more Moslems we get in the Great State of Texas the harder it is to fight back against the Moslem religion,but as long as we have good leaders here in the Great State of Texas like Dan Patrick an even Abbott,Tenderholt is going to be a very strong candidate in future elections to move up in Texas politics,GOD BLESS TEXAS!!
