As if we needed yet another reason never to set foot in a Starbucks. Starbucks workers at more than 150 – 200 locations will go on strike over accusations that the company is not allowing Pride Month decor in some of its cafes, especially those in locations known for their conservative populations. The fact that Pride Month is celebrated in the vast majority of Starbucks stores all around the country is of no significance to these radical far-leftists who demand 100% compliance with their ever-escalating LGBT demands.
Daily Wire The union, Starbucks Workers United, said more than 150 stores with close to 3,500 workers have pledged to strike over the next week. More than two dozen more stores are voting on strike authorizations, which could bring the count up to nearly 200 stores, according to the union.
Last week, the union claimed that Starbucks had restricted Pride month decorations in some stores, suggesting that the famously liberal Seattle coffee giant bowed to pressure from conservatives to deemphasize Pride Month in certain locations.
Starbucks denied the allegations and said the company has not changed its policy on store decor this year, noting that some stores have shared their Pride decorations on social media.
“We unwaveringly support the LGBTQIA2+ community. There has been no change to any policy on this matter and we continue to encourage our store leaders to celebrate with their communities including for US Pride month in June,” a Starbucks spokesperson said. “We’re deeply concerned by false information that is being spread.”
However, the union responded by claiming that internal documents show that regional Starbucks leaders in more conservative areas of the country had decided to cancel Pride celebrations this year. The union is also demanding gender-neutral bathrooms, a grievance procedure, protection from discrimination and sexual harassment.
“Starbucks tokenizes queer & trans workers and uses us for positive PR & profit, but they don’t want to listen to us. Enough of the performative progressivism – we demand Starbucks come to the table to bargain a contract that legally GUARANTEES our rights,” the union tweeted.

I’ve never bought Starbucks. Never will.

In the UK, a TV ad for Visit the USA.com, shows a pride flag being waved, full screen, and what looks like a pride parade with rainbow coloured balloons.
BareNakedIslam says
I guess the marketing genius that came up with that idea was trying to appeal to the smallest number of travelers possible.
Rebel Patriot says
It will come to a point, that the LGBTQ freaks will demand the replacement of the American flag with their flag. Can I be wrong?
BareNakedIslam says
Joe Biden replaced one of the 3 American flags hanging in front of the White House with a Pride flag for the month of June.

And it never will be.

I haven’t set foot in a Starbucks in over 15 years.
Over here we like Gloria Jean’s which is an Australia-based chain. I never bothered to learn about their political leaning so far but it’s always been the perfct family-friendly coffee chain for me and my family.
This is what I found on the web about Gloria Jean’s now that I looked them up finally.
“In November 2010, in the lead up to the Australian Federal Election, Gloria Jean’s donated $30,000 to the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL).”
That’s good enough for me.
“Change of management in December 2014 has led some LGBT community members to question the relevance of a continuing boycott.”
Gets even better.
In fact I found articles online with titles such as: “Should the LGBTI community still be boycotting Gloria Jean’s?”
I’m proud of my choices.
BareNakedIslam says
I have an alert service on my phone that lets me know the latest companies that have gone “woke.”
I would patronize Gloria Jean’s if we had that chain here.
Ghulam says
It’s very popular all over Asia. At my local Gloria Jean’s, the WC says: “Men” and “Women”.
They have one for the “Disabled” . Any non-binary gender freaks can use that one if they care to show up.
I have no idea what the urinal situation looks like in a Starbucks as I haven’t been there in all these years. Nor do I wish to know.
Starbucks can suck a lemon. They’ll never get a cent from me.
BareNakedIslam says
Me neither.

Why on earth would anyone be proud of living a degenerate, perverted lifestyle?

StarSchmucks needs to get the Bud treatment. LGBT has metastasized and become a virulent, sulfurous, vitriolic cancer that must be destroyed.
It’s no longer a few harmless weirdos playing with one another; now they want to play with our CHILDREN and at that point they must be recognized as the immense societal danger they present.
If Starbuck’s employees sympathize with the vile sickness that has become LGBT, they too must go.
BareNakedIslam says
I assume you saw this from yesterday?
Richard S says
They can he fired. Unions are now powerless. Especially over coffee chains. If Starbucks wants to be great again they need to fire all their woke staff and not give in to wokeness
BareNakedIslam says
Same goes for every other corporation. They are spitting in the faces of 90 percent of their customer base to appeal to a very small minority.
I was a copywriter/creative director in the advertising business for many years and would have been fired if my ads targeted such a small audience.

They are 100% correct…no matter what you do or give, it’s never enough!! Look at that long list of policies that Starbucks gives, yet these perpetually miserable mother fluckers still aren’t satisfied.
I’m praying that the higher-ups at Starbucks stick to their guns and not capitulat, but you know they will.
C Tyrel says
It is never enough to appease the biased left idiots. This is another good reason not to support Starbucks expensive coffee crap. Let the right side speak up and boycotting is our only response that the company will understand. If I go in to buy a coffee, I am not interested in dealing with political left nonsense. If I go to see a sporting game, I go to see sports not to be bombarded with leftist crap.
BareNakedIslam says
I prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee.
