Italy declares that “transgender” women are banned from competing in the “Miss Italy” competition, with beauty pageant officials making it perfectly clear that contestants “must be female from birth.”
BIZ PAC REVIEW Miss Italy Official Patron Patrizia Mirigliani said, “Lately, beauty contests have been trying to make the news by also using strategies that I think are a bit absurd.”
“Majorities in 15 countries support allowing access to public restrooms consistent with a transgender person’s gender identity,” the poll also found which is a sentiment that has also apparently shifted.
In that particular poll, when the level of support for transgender rights was measured, Russia ranked lowest, while Spain ranked highest.
Mirigliani’s blunt comments come just weeks after Rikkie Valerie Kollé was crowned the first transgender “Miss Netherlands.” According to NPR, Kollé will go on to represent her country in the 2023 Miss Universe beauty pageant. “The new Miss Universe Netherlands made history as she became the first-ever transgender woman to win the national title. She will be the second transgender representative at the Miss Universe pageant next to Spain’s Angela Ponce who participated in 2018,” according to the website.
In 2012, the Miss Universe contest announced that it was changing its rules to allow transgender women to compete in its pageants. “We have a long history of supporting equality for all women and this was something we took very seriously,” the president of the Miss Universe contest, Paula Shugart, proclaimed at the time, according to Reuters.
Newsweek reported that “the UCLA School of Law Williams Institute conducted a poll to gauge worldwide support for transgender individuals. The poll found among 23 countries, that a majority in 21 countries ‘support policies banning discrimination against transgender people.’”
Reactions on Twitter expressed bewilderment and resounding disapproval over Kolle’s “winning” of the contest as a man.
Great for Italy taking a stand for truth and reality! A man wearing eye makeup, breast implants & with or without his original dick does NOT a woman make! It’s just a glamorized characature of a woman. But it is still a man. call it drag or transvestism or transgenderism it remanins a man. its gender/sex is encoded on the chromosomes withing every cell nucleus of his body. more than likely the individual poseur is a man with homosexual behaviors but that attraction to other men of his own sex does not make him a woman no matter how hard he tries. to include or legally & socially embed such individuals into the feminine gender is to degrade and destroy real femininity. it also evaporates homosexuality on the myth that such people were born in the wrong body. such a statement is meaningless. if one with same sex attraction costumes oneself as the other sex it evaporates the reality of homosexual behavior as he or a lesbain would be the other sex now. this is nonsense, anti-science and a social fiction on every level. it will also have very deleterious consequences to society in the long run. what has grown out of mere tolerance has already become an imperial obsession producing physical assaults and confrontations. nothing good will come from this tolerance of insanity.
