What are these Muslim women doing..and where are they doing it? Is this the female version of Ashura – an annual Islamic festival where Shia Muslim men hit themselves on the back with chains until they bleed?
Muslums are instructed to do their prayer wash with “clean” dirt in absence of water. But this is not the wudu, nor is it any bath, the dirt is not contacting the skin. So, just more Islamic insanity, as far as I’m concerned.
Spending your life shrouded in garments from head to toe and especially in the heat would produce loads of germs and bacteria.Throwing sand in the face or crawling through sand will not resolve the issue but then again, Islam is not the brightest light bulb.
Muslims are expected to carry bottles of water everywhere to avoid such emergencies.
The practice of Tayammum evolved in ancient Arabia where access to drinkable water wasn’t guaranteed. It’s mentioned in Quran – Surah An-Nisa (of the women), verse 43
“Allah says, “If you cannot find any water, then do tayammum with pure earth,” (4:43).”
I personally find this practice disturbing, unhygienic and impractical. But again I don’t follow everything in a book written 1400 years ago. I apply my mind.
It seems to me there’s something perverse about it. Maybe it was the male photographer rushing in to photographe the woman on her hands & knees, which brought to mind a video I’d seen of women in burqas on their hands & knees twerking.
One larger oddity: At :22, in the center of the frame, it appears one woman is wearing a white face mask.
Just guessing that it could be from a Hadith for women who were crying having lost loved ones in Jihad and the ProMo told them to throw sand in their mouths to keep them quiet. Whatever the case, does anyone expect these illiterate throwbacks to the 7th century even know what they’re doing?
maybe they are male tranny freaks with that gear on how would know what they were or maybe they dont know that there is a water shortage on or no plumbing installed.Remember reading some time ago about people stealing taps from a hotel in the belief that that is how the water comes from just screw them onto the wall and turn the tap on.

This is Tayammum a non-obligatory purification ritual similar to wudu.
