GERMANY’S RAPE CRISIS: Nearly 9,000 women and men raped or sexually assaulted by foreigners since 2015

Between 2015 and 2022, there were more than 8,590 reported cases of rape by (mainly Muslim) migrants, both legal and illegal, in Germany, according to new data released by the federal government, with the vast majority of the victims being females with German citizenship.

REMIX News  (h/t Marvin W) Overall, “irregular migrants” the term given to those (mostly Muslims) who illegally enter Germany and then gain asylum, represent approximately 2.5% of the overall population from the period of 2015 through 2022.  However, that same group represented 13.1% of all rape and sexual assault cases.   An irregular migrant is four to five times more likely to commit a sexual crime against a German women.

The shocking statistics from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) have already made waves in the German press. In an article for Neue Zürcher Zeitung, migration researcher Ruud Koopmans says the data showcases the risks of European asylum policy. Koopmans sees an urgent need for reform in order to end the deaths in the Mediterranean and the Sahara, however, irregular immigration is also dangerous for the native population of the destination countries, says the migration expert.

Koopmans writes that between 2017 and 2020, over 3,000 women fell victim to rape by one or more refugees. Most of these victims are German nationals.

The figures are also explosive in context. According to police crime statistics, there were almost 12,000 reported cases of rape and sexual assault in 2022. Of the 10,000 suspects rounded up, 6,366 were German and 3,679 non-German. Immigrants accounted for 1,155 of the suspects. This means that they are over-represented in sexual crimes, measured against their small share of the population.

However, such data does not tell the full story either, as many of those listed as Germans are also foreign nationals who obtained German citizenship or second- or third-generation immigrants.

The co-chair of the conservative, anti-Muslim migration Alternative for Germany (AfD) Party, Alice Weidel, told the NZZ that the numbers are “unbelievable” and that “behind every case there is a terrible personal fate.” She says that women in Germany have to fear for their physical integrity due to the “politically desired waiver of control.”

The “disproportionate share of ‘refugees’ among the suspects” in crimes against sexual self-determination is “the frightening result of the irresponsible policy of open borders since 2015,” said Weidel.

Like the Federal Ministry of the Interior, the AfD co-leader is calling for the “full rigor of the rule of law” and, in addition, subsequent deportation for convicted perpetrators. The focus should not be on a “misunderstood tolerance towards foreign criminals, but on protecting our own citizens,” said Weidel.

German authorities have managed to identify 12 men, ten of whom have (Muslim) migrant backgrounds, who are believed to have brutally gang-raped a 15-year-old German girl for over two hours in a Hamburg park last fall.  While one of them was briefly detained, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM IS IN CUSTODY.

Muslim migrant rape has been a major concern in Germany, with 2019 crime statistics showing that migrants are disproportionately represented in sexual assaults as well as murder and other serious crimes.

Other the incident like the mass sexual assault of 1,200 by mass sexual assault of 1,200 women by men of North African or Arab appearance during the 2015/2016 New Year’s in Cologne fueled the rise of the anti-immigration party Alternative for Germany, but other serious sexual assaults have only further raised questions about Germany’s immigration policies.

Just this year, four migrants were arrested for filming their gang rape of a woman in Düsseldorf. In another case, a migrant raped an 11-year-old special needs girl in Hanover. German women have even been targeted for gang rape in other countries, with eight Iraqis gang raping a German woman in Vienna.

The gang rape was not the only high-profile incident in the city of Freiburg either, with an asylum seeker who said he was from Afghanistan convicted for the 2016 rape and murder of a young German woman.

In August, data contained in a report released by Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) revealed that an average of two women or girls are gang-raped in Germany each day, with Muslim migrants making up roughly half of the suspected perpetrators. Despite making up just 13.7 percent of Germany’s population, foreigners were involved in approximately half of all gang rape cases.

Statistics show that the vast majority of rapes and sexual assaults on French public transport are committed by men of foreign origin. As is common across Europe, Muslim migrants often make up half of all sexual assaults or more in countries like Germany, Italy and Sweden.

As Remix News has previously reported, rapes have soared in France in tandem with mass immigration, with the vast majority of suspects being (Muslim) foreigners. Now, in some cities, French women are afraid to walk the streets, and some are even assaulted for simply wearing a dress that foreign men deem to be too short.

The French feminist collective Collectif Némésis has been actively exposing the dangers posed by mass immigration and the deteriorating situation for Western women across the country. Many of the women belonging to the group have been delivering personal testimonials of the sexual harassment and abuse they have suffered, especially from North African Muslims, also known as Maghrebis.
