Thank you, Bonnie, for your wish for a Happy Easter, and I extend this wish to all the Christian fellow readers.
Although, here in Greece and other countries of the Orthodox denomination, we shall have to wait until the 5th May [difference in religious calendars], and with the Jewish Passover coming in between, this is truly a very significant period.
However, the Easter wish is always timely, because Jesus’ resurrection is what Christianity is about. That is why, in Greece, for weeks after Easter, we traditionally greet each other by saying, “Christ is risen”, and the other person anwers “Truly, He is risen”.
So, I find Robin Williams’ monologue to be quite thought provoking in asking “How did we get to the Easter bunny and eggs?” to be the common symbols of Easter, when the focus should be on “He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaih 53:5).
May God bless us all with more understanding of Him, stronger faith and shalom.
In my country, Moslems are bullying FMCG companies to not use alcohol as one of their ingredients.
Almost every day, I notice store shelves filling up with Halal-certified products. Initially, it was perfumes and beauty items. Gradually, they expanded to include sanitizers, mouth sprays, and mouthwashes.
Interestingly, Listerine doesn’t make the cut due to its alcohol-based solution. Consequently, every product is now advertised as “alcohol-free.”
All this halal nonsense is nothing but a figment of their weird imaginations. Even their unholy book mentions it very clearly that they’re only not allowed to eat or drink the said banned products made with pork or alcohol. It doesn’t say anywhere that you can’t have other uses for them. Ethyl alcohol is used in every industrial process ranging from cloth fabrication to steel forging. But those numbnuts will not listen to reason
Moslems are infected in the brain. However, like zombies, they transfer their mental thoughts to the rest of us using these sneaky tactics.
It is so rare that there is anything to joke about on this blog, most of my readers appreciate a bit of levity now and then. Besides, the Biden post abut the Transgender Easter was depressing enough.
You are right on both assumptions ! while I am thinking on that rabbit you or that Marine of yours see’s one that is acting queer give his cotton tail a little dusting of pepper shot as a reminder we know a real Easter Bunny no substitutes … Jew or Gentile Happy Easter !
Your Jewish view of our Christian Miracle is taken with a grain of salt on both sides but for your thoughtfulness to our feelings … I Thank You Jews for providing a legitimate Son of God .

Happy Easter, one and all!
I’m not Christian.
But I just had a non-Halal Easter egg filled with dark Rum, and we’re in the middle of Ramadan.
My way of saying, “Fuck the Moslems.”
Where did you find a NON halal easter egg ?
Alcohol makes it non-halal.

So that’s why mouthwash is all going alcohol free!
Seriously, today on this day, you can’t think of anything else, than making jokes?

“He is risen!” Luke 24.
