Adeel Abdullah Mangi, a Biden administration judicial nominee to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, comes with the enthusiastic support of designated terrorist group CAIR.
Gateway Pundit (h/t Nita) They have been trying to push him through the senate confirmation process for months, but Republicans have blocked the nominee because he has ties to people who were in the domestic terror group the Weather Underground and other radicals, including cop killers and those who have alleged ties to 9/11 hijacker sympathizers.
Now even senate Democrats are objecting to Mangi’s nomination, meaning that the Biden administration should probably stop wasting everyone’s time with this. Biden wants to remake the courts with the most extreme judges he can find but anti-Semite Adeel Mangi might be the worst of all.
This month, Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada and Joe Manchin of West Virginia announced their opposition to Mangi, while other Senate Democrats in battleground states were noncommittal when asked about Biden’s nominee.
With a thin working majority of 51-49 in the Senate, confirming the Pakistani-American lawyer could require a herculean effort by Democrats to round up enough votes.
Washington Free Beacon Citing Mangi’s tenure as a member of the board of advisers for the Center for Security, Race, and Rights at Rutgers Law School from 2019 to 2023, Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) said the “extremist organization” Mangi was affiliated with “teaches students to hate Israel, to hate America, and to support global Islamic terrorism.”
“Mangi’s organization blamed America for the Sept. 11 terror attacks and has hosted speakers with terrorist connections, including a convicted terrorist,” the narrator continued. “Mangi’s organization even blamed Israel for the Hamas terror attack on Oct. 7. When Mangi was given opportunities to condemn these hateful views, he refused to do so.”
Sen. Jacky Rosen (D., Nev.) on Wednesday became the third Democrat in the Senate to come out against Adeel Mangi, President Joe Biden’s controversial nominee to serve as a federal appeals court judge.
Rosen joined Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (D., Nev.) and Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.) in opposing Mangi, a Muslim-American lawyer and nominee to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, according to NBC News. Mangi is seeking the Senate’s confirmation but has faced pushback in recent months from Senate Republicans due to his affiliation with anti-copand anti-Israel groups.
“Given the concerns I’ve heard from law enforcement in Nevada, I am not planning to vote to confirm this nominee,” Rosen said in a statement Wednesday.
JCN president Carrie Severino blasted Mangi’s ties to the “radical, antisemitic group” in a statement to Fox News Digital. “It is bad enough that President Biden has appointed activist judges who can’t identify major constitutional provisions and are hostile to law enforcement. But now Biden wants to give a life-tenure judicial position to a lawyer with ties to a radical, antisemitic group that blames the United States for 9/11 and teaches students to hate Israel and America,” she said.
Since being nominated, Mangi has garnered significant criticism for his personal and financial affiliation with the university research center that has been accused of giving a platform to “terrorist sympathizers.” Last week, Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans announced they are investigating the funding of the center and insisted its “platforming of radical ideologues” was “troublesome.”
The center, according to members of the committee, co-sponsored an event titled “Whose Narrative? 20 Years since September 11, 2001” on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Additionally, members of the committee noted that the center hosted an event titled “Psychoanalysis Under Occupation: Practicing Resistance in Palestine” three days after the Oct. 7 massacre of Israelis by Hamas militants. Center faculty affiliate Dr. Lara Sheehi opened the talk by saying, “Zionist settler colonialism is a structure that is the provocation,” according to the committee.
FOX NewsThe center also held a December 2023 event titled “The West, Israel and Settler Colonization of Palestine” with Professor Joseph Massad, who lauded the Oct. 7 massacre in “jubilant” terms in an article that was published one day after Hamas invaded Israel.
Massad wrote at the time, “No less awesome were the scenes witnessed by millions of jubilant Arabs who spent the day watching the news, of Palestinian fighters from Gaza breaking through Israel’s prison fence or gliding over it by air.… No less striking was the capture of some of Israel’s colonial soldiers and officers in their underwear while sleeping.”
“During his tenure as a board member, the Center supported efforts to delegitimize the State of Israel by pushing for the boycott, divestment, and sanction (BDS) movement and calling for resistance in Palestine,” they wrote. “In 2021, the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey stated that one of the Center’s events sought to ‘delegitimize Israel and to push their antisemitic agenda into a mainstream discourse.’
Like their Senate colleagues, the GOP House lawmakers also said the center has a record of sympathizing with radical terrorist organizations and pointed to the 9/11 anniversary event it hosted, where Sami Al-Arian, a convicted felon who provided support to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), was a featured speaker. At the event, Al-Arian blamed the 9/11 attack on the U.S. and its support for Israel.
Adeel Mangi is not qualified to be a federal judge because he supports organizations that celebrate people who kill law enforcement officers, hate Americans, and hate Jews.
It’s not Islamophobic to recognize that. It’s our job. pic.twitter.com/sQkUBte1io

This appointment ought to be opposed by all true patriots irrespective of party affiliations. And not just because of his sympathizing with terrorists, not only because he is a Muslim, but mainly because he is promoted by CAIR which is allegedly a front for the Muslim Brotherhood. This endorsement alone is enough to taint him for any kind of Judicial office, especially one which has the potential to catapult him to the Supreme Court under a suitable dhimmi demented President like the current one.

Senator John Kennedy hit the head of the nail with a sledge hammer when he stated that
“people who kill law enforcement officers, hate Americans, and hate Jews” are “not Islamophobic to recognize that. It’s our job.” He could not be more correct for every time a case involving a depraved Islamist would occur, the Islamist would be the judge that would somehow have the case land on his desk. Also, this nominee would be the start of Suriah galloping into our courts.

Iran has already penetrated many security-oriented departments of the Executive Branch. Pakistan’s ISI slinks around the edges of the Legislative Branch. Now the Islamic advocacy organs are pushing for the insertion of one of their own activists to have a place on the federal judiciary. The islamists and their apologists hold a different agenda. It’s not consistent with America’s safety.

It is well past time that groups like CAIR be outlawed.
