Rolla Abdeljawad posted a video showing a March 29, 2024 visit she received from several agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. According to the FBI agents, they were sent because she published several posts on Facebook shows her endorsement of Hamas and violent jihad as well as her desire to see all U.S. troops return in wooden coffins.
Fox News reported that which posts got the FBI’s attention remains unclear, but the woman’s attorney said that, in context, Abdeljawad has made a series of posts in the past week expressing frustration about the ongoing war in Gaza between Israeli forces and Hamas terrorists, including referring to Israel as “Israhell.” Some of what she posted included, “Israhelli terrorist filth… #FreePalestine May Allah destroy every single despicable zionist [sic], their supporters and backers. Ameen”

MEMRI Following the March 19 visit by several FBI agents, the woman’s video went viral. She published multiple Facebook posts dedicated to the media attention she’s received. Shortly after the FBI paid her a visit, the woman recounted her version of events on Facebook.

The woman expressed her desire for U.S. troops involved with assisting Israel to return home in caskets. On January 12, 2024, she commented on a video purportedly showing hundreds of “U.S. elite troops” and combat vehicles arriving in Israel. She wrote:
A screenshot posted on November 30, 2023 showed that the woman’s Instagram account was permanently banned. In the post, she defended Hamas from critics of the terror group. She wrote:
On November 29, 2023 she shared footage of several hostages being released by Hamas. The woman praised Hamas’s conduct and referred to the terror group as “hummus” in her post.
In a post on November 25, 2023, the woman appeared to allude to Hamas, and referred to them as Mujahideen.:
One of her posts even warned the Muslim community and people who are pro-Palestinian to be wary of the U.S. government monitoring their activity.
“Don’t fall for their games. Our community is being watched & they are just waiting for any reason to round us up,” Abdeljawad wrote on March 24. “If you’re Muslim and/or pro-pal consider all your media accounts, Google searches, mail, messenger, local mosques & political events monitored. #NYC #usa #PoliceState #FreePalestine.”
Her Muslim attorney, Hassan Shibley, who was fired as executive director of Hamas-linked CAIR in Florida, is raising concerns after agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation allegedly visited his client’s Stillwater home on Mar. 19 over her social media posts.
Shibly, who represents Rolla Abdeljawad, is asking if the agents failed to follow protocol when it came to fully identifying themselves during the visit—and worries not having that information could bog down any investigations into what happened.
