The Israeli Defense Forces airstrike on a Khan Younis camp on July 13th allegedly has eliminated Mohammed Deif, the Hamas #2 leader who directed the Oct 7th attacks against Israel, as well as his deputy Rafaa Salameh. As evidence of this, the IDF published a recording of a phone conversation between Gazans praising the assassination of Deif, and saying they hope Israel will kill the Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, as well.

JNS Israel has targeted Deif repeatedly over the years, who is famously elusive, keeping face out of the public domain. Deif, the commander of the militant group’s military wing is known as “The Guest”, or sometimes “the cat with nine lives”.
Col. Avichay Adraee the IDF spokesperson for Arabic media, published the recordings on X and said: “These original voices from deep within the Gaza Strip indicate the feelings of the residents of the Strip towards the leaders of Hamas and their wishes for their elimination so that the war will end.”
Other posts on social media show videos of Gazans from the Strip who also ask that the IDF finish off Hamas and take out Sinwar.
Mohammed Deif is dead. Israel confirmed it today.

I certainly hope so and i also wish that the IDF gets many more of this sort.
If Deif was anywhere near where those bombs hit, he instantly turned into pink mist. The sole issue is whether he was actually there.
