On July 22, CBC News published an article entitled: “Canadian citizen killed in confrontation with Israeli security forces near Gaza border“, which spoke about the circumstances and death surrounding Canadian citizen, Zachareah Adam Quraishi, in Israel.
Honest Reporting If one were to look at the headline and nothing else, one would assume that Israeli security forces were the ones at fault for Quraishi’s death, when nothing was further from the truth.
In reality, Canadian Zachareah Adam Quraishi drove a car to the entrance of the small Israeli town of Netiv Ha’asara (a site that Hamas terrorists previously struck in their October 7 massacres) where he wielded a kitchen knife, with reports suggesting he shouted “Free Palestine” as he ran towards Israeli security forces, who then shot the man dead before he could cause any harm to others.
HonestReporting Canada’s complaint with CBC News stated that the headline was incredibly misleading as it implied that Quraishi may have been an innocent victim who merely died in a “confrontation”.
We thank CBC News for updating their article’s headline to reflect the truth, showcasing that the Canadian citizen who died was in fact the perpetrator who intended to kill Israelis with a weapon and was NOT an innocent victim.
Simply put, the Canadian news media often fail to provide an accurate representation of Israel and the Middle East. The tendency to focus on daily violence involving Israel while ignoring the absence of democracy and freedom in the rest of the Middle East fosters a distorted perspective on the region. As a result, the Canadian people and our government receive a skewed impression of the region, which means we cannot adequately promote Canadian values and interests.
And at the same time CBC is morning the death of Ismail Haniyeh the Hezbollah terror group leader.
So are the MSM channels here.

the cat has been out of the bag for a while now. There are many mainstream news outlets, both within the US and internationally, that play this nauseating game of hide the salami in which they cloud the actual circumstances with out-of-context summaries of incidents involving Israeli or Jewish interests. The purposeful goal is to cast Israel and Jews in a bad light. Some of these correspond to medievil blood libels.
What the CBC did was also recently matched, on Monday, by the Washington Post placing a photo of an 11 year old child killed by the Hezbollah rocket attack above its headline that state, “Israel hits targets in Lebanon.” This insincerity implied that Israel was responsible for the 12 children who were killed by Hezbollah while playing on a soccer field. Lest you are incined to let Hezbollah off the hook for this savagery, consider that whenever you shoot a missile it is foreseeable that it will land on innocents. Hezbollah is fully responsible for this tragedy.
Point: there are elements in the mainstream media that deliberately operate as propaganda arms for the marxist-islamist axis. There motivations are ideological. This can be evidenced by where the investment money behind these outlets comes from. Some money comes from the effete oligarchs of high tech Western entrpreneurs, while other sources go back to the sovereign wealth funds of the arab muslim petro states including Qatar.
The oil-and gas-rich 🇶🇦 Qatar🇶🇦 as well as 🇹🇷 Turkey 🇹🇷 finance Jihad El-Talab (i.e., offensive, combative Jihad) across the 🌎 planet 🌏 and the “Jihad of the ‘Pen'” (i.e., pro-Islam propaganda) in the West, Eastern Europe (including the Balkans and 🇷🇺 Russia 🇷🇺), Latin America, and Asia!
