NY and NYC are respectively sanctuary state and city.

As such it is sympathetic to migrants. Note ICE = Immigration Customs Enforcement. ICE would deport these people if criminal. See Trump’s “2020 State of the Union speech” video or transcript. The republicans would make these sanctuary places responsible for their actions. Sanctuary cities/states should be outlawed. Period.
I don’t understand why the Ninth Amendment is not invoked as immigration is a federal concern rather than one that a state or community may override. If Trump is re-elected, I see no reason he cannot invoke a Writ of Mandamus and force these so-called sanctuary localities to hand over the scum to ICE.
He definitely should do that.
There is another aspect going on. I don’t know how many states do this but some don’t require sighted ID to register a voter. So who can vote? What are the chances that illegal aliens will vote for the presidential candidates?
They already have in large numbers. Democrats vote against requiring proof of citizenship to vote every time.
