Will you ever forget where you were 23 years ago today?
i know where is was and what i did. i came home and saw the attack on tv. the first and only right hing was for me to call the American consul offering my services to fight the enemy. That is what i did on this day and what did all of you do this day?.
Everybody remembers where they were. You cannot forget it.
I was at home, I had just opened the TV and I thought I was on the wrong channel. I looked at other channels and the same scenes were playing. Then, I went back to the first channel, sat down, and thus began a day of utter horror.
I remember it quite well: Father awakened me from sleep, calling “Sasha, get on your computer (+ Internet) and see what’s happening!” [He was watching CBC News at that time on his TV.]
I did as he asked – what a shock… We both were bowled over, though he was quite unsympathetic to the USA as well as NATO, period, due to Clinton’s bombing Serbia a little over 2 years earlier.
He also gibed me over being excited by Islam as an adolescent 23-24 years earlier (before 2001/09/11 – a truly-good teacher who knew to enthuse his class at that time plus both my late parents knowing what Islam was responsible for after over 500 years of Ottoman-Turkish oppression, with me furthermore rebelling against my parents’ oppressive virtual choking me from developing as a human being!!!) – to which I had to respond “Isn’t it better to know what we were and are up against??” THAT was when he said that he wouldn’t recriminate against me any more – and he kept his word.
[I also hold it very strongly against George W. Bush for DARING to LIE that “Islam is a religion of peace.” He cared far more for Arab and other Moslem oil over the country over which he was supposedly the president!!!! Truly a TRAITOR in my opinion… The correct response in my opinion would have been to annihilate ALL FIVE of Dhahran, Jidda, Mecca, Medina and Riyadh with Emperor-Bombs, with more such weapons being used upon any and all locations where ‘Osama bin Laden was hiding – in previous eras, wars were started for much less!!!!!]
I was at my wife’s bedside in a Canberra, Australia hospital where I posted with the State Department. We were not paying a lot of attention at first to the television in the room but when the second Tower about to be crashed, I was watching and I said to my wife, “What the f***?” I thought it was a movie at first then we kept watching and we became apprised of tragedy and later about the Pentagon attack. I just could not believe the horror that those people in the buildings and the planes must have suffered.
The world has not returned to normal in my mind since then and I am afraid that there will be another horrific attack in the near future and as always, it is the innocent who will die rather than the politicians like Harris, Sanders and Biden who have invited the enemy to cross our borders and then subsidize them and their actions.
Yo Ray dont forget the famous saying …here it is,… the ones screaming the loudest for war are the ones not having to fight it. They have no regrets to send you and your children to fight but their own children wont see one day war. That is how wars start and we see this in the ukraine dont we like numan said fuck the eu in 2010 and then what happened the fake revolution maydan this America has done more times than i can count and i was a part of these doings, ok the maydan was after my time but i do know of other states where this shit happened for America the great and all nations friend.
Yes these are painfull pictures but they are needed in order to keep us awake and ready for the mudslime. here in germany they had one when not the biggest victory parties ever. The german politics and police did nothing but to fine and jail the ones not wanting the mudslime shit like me. Loss of friends realtives or people is allways hard and the captured ones in the hands of the fakeistinian are lost too and we should accept that. The price is higher than most think than to get them back and to stop the war is not the best for our future generations and country then these things will never ever stop killing us.. no matter what so let us kill them and have peace in our nations but at a high price then nothing is free in this world.
I was in my office when one of my employees came in saying a passenger jet crashed into one of the towers. I muttered “drunken pilot?” Later he came back to tell me another jet flew into the other tower. I exclaimed ‘fucking muslims!’
We were living in Hawaii at the time. that morning I got the kids up for school and pretty soon they yelled downstairs mom, mom put on the TV Somethings happening.
By the time we were up, the buildings had been down for hours😭😭😭 what a shock, an absolute shock!

How ucking stupid is she to say something like that!? Don’t stay home and be complacent in November hoping he wins. Make him win by going out to vote! No 60% turnout! Make it 100% turn out!
Agreed. 23 years…in this same time frame both WWII and Korea were started (for us) and ended. There are “kids” in the military who were not even born yet…and they have no…emotional connection with that day. It’s just movies to them. :-/
It should be mandatory to watch the French Naudet Brothers’ Firehouse documentary in school. As well as a contemporary News coverage of to understand the shock and dread and tears of that day as things were cascading unpredictably. Then watch all the decent war movies of our troops in the last 20 years of war.
Then watch on Pearl Harbor Day the entire NBC award winning documentary series from 1952, Victory at Sea. All 26 episodes to understand how huge of an effort and sacrifice it took to achieve real victory. (From my understanding, legendary old-time Harvard history professor, Samuel Eliot Morison, also an Admiral in the USNR, compiled at 15- volume history of the USN’s involvement in WWII. His main researcher, LT Henry Salamon, brought up the idea of producing a series with former Philips Academy Harvard classmate, Robert Sarnoff, whose dad ran RCA (and NBC). The music score was by Richard Rogers and narrated by Leonard Graves.)

23 years ago today I was at home recovering from my twins birth. No American had a clue how much Islam hates us. I tried to remind people today.
I still can’t look at these videos without tearing up. I had a friend who died in the North tower that day.
