That entire discussion by that Florida sheriff was nothing but tooting his own horn and those of the other LEO’s. I generally support the police, but when the entire thing becomes about “what a good boy am I”, I find it very distasteful. Yeah, their jobs are dangerous, but that’s what they signed up for and had the shooter been a professional sniper, Trump would no longer be with us. And, for the sheriff to make a level of protection distinction between Trump not being a sitting President and Biden being a sitting President, he can kiss my ass. I think the Dems have a spy in Trump’s inner Circle who knows Trump’s schedule everyday. How else would the latest assassin-wannabe have known he would be on the golf course when he was?
Totally agree and it makes me sick. Our dirty rotten gov. is our biggest threat. They will try again too. I’m scared to death in my own country. In light of what happened, I think Trump should only have private security. He shouldn’t trust the Secret Service anymore. If he gets re-elected, he should do some major housecleaning in the SS.
