WEST VIRGINIA high school becomes Ground Zero for Hamas Front Group CAIR’s campaign to Islamize American public schools

In a disturbing turn of events, Morgantown High School, a taxpayer-funded public institution in conservative West Virginia, has yielded to pressure from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Student Association (MSA) – organizations with deep ties to the Muslim Brotherhood—to provide a dedicated prayer space for Muslim students to perform their Friday Jummah prayers. This is not just a simple religious accommodation; it’s part of a much larger, dangerous Islamic agenda designed to Islamize American institutions, beginning with the schools.

RAIR Foundation What initially began as a request from Sajida Elsarrat, a senior at Morgantown High and leader of the Muslim Student Association (MSA), for a special room for Muslim students to gather for Jummah prayer quickly turned into a full-blown Islamic pressure campaign.

CAIR, in coordination with their fellow jihadis at the MSA, intervened after the school denied the request in 2023. Together, these two “radical’ (religiously devout) Islamic organizations—both deeply tied to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood—worked in unison to force Morgantown High to submit to their demands.

In response to CAIR’s aggressive legal and public pressure, the school eventually conceded, allowing the prayer room to be established. This outcome represents more than a victory for a student group—it is a victory for Muslim activists, who are working to force American schools to accommodate Islamic practices at the expense of their secular foundation.

It is essential to understand that CAIR is not simply a civil rights organization advocating for Muslim Americans—it is, in fact, Hamas.  CAIR was founded by individuals tied to Hamas, the internationally recognized terrorist organization responsible for countless acts of violence, including the deaths of civilians around the world. CAIR operates as Hamas’ American front, working to further its agenda by infiltrating and influencing American institutions under the guise of civil rights advocacy.

The push for prayer spaces in public schools like Morgantown High is not just an effort for religious freedom—it’s a calculated tactic by Hamas (through CAIR) to advance Islamic dominance in public spaces. The evidence tying CAIR to Hamas is undeniable: Nihad Awad, the executive director of CAIR, has openly expressed his support for Hamas. Awad participated in a 1993 summit with Hamas operatives to discuss strategies for undermining U.S. policies and raising funds for Hamas in America. As revealed in FBI wiretaps, this meeting, among other events, clearly demonstrated CAIR’s role as an extension of Hamas.

The Jummah prayers are not simply about allowing students to pray—they represent the first step in a larger agenda to normalize Islamic practices within public institutions and ultimately transform them.

This allegiance to Jihad is not theoretical—many MSA chapters across the country actively promote Islamic ideologies. The organization is a key player in pushing Islamic practices into American schools, starting with the small, seemingly harmless request for a prayer space but with the long-term goal of embedding Islam deeply into public institutions.

The push for a prayer room at Morgantown High is not an isolated request for religious accommodation—it is part of a broader, more dangerous Dawah campaign, which lies at the heart of Islam’s mission to spread the faith and convert non-Muslims. Dawah, or proselytizing, is a core tenet of Islamic teachings, with an emphasis on bringing others into the fold of Islam. Public schools, especially taxpayer-funded institutions, have become prime targets for these Dawah strategies because they provide fertile ground for influencing young, impressionable minds.

By establishing prayer rooms in public schools like Morgantown High, CAIR, and the MSA are not merely catering to the religious needs of Muslim students. Instead, they are creating visible spaces where Islamic rituals and practices can be performed openly. This is a critical aspect of Dawah: by making Islam visible and normalized in the daily life of the school, it becomes easier to introduce non-Muslim students to these practices. Over time, the goal is to make Islam an accepted and unquestioned part of school life, which opens the door for conversion efforts targeting both students and staff.

The incremental nature of this Islamization strategy is key. CAIR and the MSA know that they cannot overhaul a secular institution overnight, so they start with small, seemingly benign demands like prayer rooms. However, these small victories are part of a larger agenda to shift the culture of schools and gradually introduce more Islamic practices. For example:

The goal of this Dawah campaign is not just to meet the needs of Muslim students—it is to normalize Islamic practices in public schools, making it easier for Islam to influence and convert others. By securing prayer rooms, CAIR and the MSA have begun the process of Islamizing public schools, using the language of inclusion and diversity to mask their true intentions. What starts with a prayer room could easily evolve into further demands, fundamentally changing the nature of the public school system.

This incremental process is deliberate. By starting small, CAIR and the MSA are able to bypass resistance and create a stronghold for Islam in taxpayer-funded institutions. They are using American laws and values to gradually replace secular principles with Islamic law (Sharia), all while claiming that these changes are simply a matter of religious accommodation.

Perhaps the most alarming aspect of this situation is that taxpayer-funded public schools are being used to further the agenda of radical Islamic organizations. Schools like Morgantown High, which are meant to educate students in a secular, neutral environment, are now being forced to carve out special privileges for Muslim students, setting a dangerous precedent for schools across the country. This not only compromises the secular nature of public education but also opens the door for future Islamic demands that will target public institutions at large.
