Alas, I’m not (at least as of yet) a Catholic – rather I’m an un-affiliated Christian of both Eastern-Orthodox AND Protestant teaching from childhood. Over the years, I’ve also nevertheless developed much sympathy and considerable agreement with the Romanist Church – ALL Mankind owes a tremendous debt to Catholicism!!!
Under Benedict XVI, I was seriously thinking of joining your church (ideally via the provisions of “Anglicanorum Cœtibus” – the last church I served as a music-director was Anglican); alas, that Antipope Bergoglio has ensured that I simply can’t EVER join with the kind of APOSTASY he has been SHAMELESSLY PROMOTING!!!! Well, I don’t usually agree with the pope, but I think he is right this time. Israel is responding in a disproportional way. The IDF’s morality is totally disproportional compared to the Palestinians and the Hezbolla’s morality. The IDF goes to disproportionally great lengths in protecting civilians from harm. And the absence of rapes is absolutely ridiculously disproportional.
