Just days before the anniversary of the barbaric killing of over 1,200 people by Islamist Hamas terrorists, who broke into Southern Israel on October 7th last year to carry out a mass terror campaign, President Macron said on Saturday that France has stopped supplying Israel with weapons to use against the terrorists.
Breitbart (h/t Nita) The French leader went on to call for a broader embargo on arms deliveries to Israel, saying in comments reported by Le Figaro: “I think that today, the priority is that we return to a political solution, that we stop delivering weapons to fight in Gaza.”
The French president has also recently joined U.S. President Joe Biden and other leaders in calling for a ceasefire in Lebanon, where Israeli forces have been targeting Hamas terrorists and the leadership of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terror group.
The demand from Maccron to stop arming Israel follows a move by another terrorist-appeaser, the recently-elected far left-wing Labour Party government in Britain to suspend dozens of weapons contracts with Israel. UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy said last month that Britain suspended 30 arms export licences to Israel, which include UK-made components used in fighter jets, helicopters, and military drones used by Israel. London claimed that the decision was sparked by concerns that British weaponry was being used to violate human rights in Gaza.
The comments from Macron also come as Israel is reportedly planning a retaliatory strike against Iran following the Islamist regime’s attack on the Jewish state earlier this week, firing around 200 missiles at Israel on Tuesday.

WHY MACRON DID IT-QATAR HAS BOUGHT AND PAID OFF FRANCE
A few months ago, amidst the “Qatargate” scandal, where Qatar is accused of attempting to corrupt European officials, the Emir of Qatar pledged to invest €10 billion in the French economy by 2030.
The timing and geopolitical implications are fishy enough, but what’s incredible are the CONDITIONS at which these investments will be treated. It’s not investing, it’s PLUNDERING France.
Have a look how Qatar secured themselves uber-favored taxing and legal favors, on the back of French taxpayers:
1-Real Estate: Qatari investments in French real estate would not be subject to the Real Estate Wealth Tax/ Impot sur la fortune immobiliere, WHICH FRENCH PERSONS PAY, (IFI) due to specific exemptions in the France-Qatar tax treaty., provided the Qataris also own French stocks and bonds.
OK, you’ll say, so they’ll pay taxes on their stocks? WRONG
2- Dividends: Dividends from French companies to Qatari investorsare taxable only in Qatar, where there is no dividend tax, potentially allowing for tax evasion schemes. French people, of course, pay tax on dividends.
3-Interests: Financial flows like interest on loans from Qatari entities to French companies are not taxed in France. They are, if a FRENCH company loans money to another, meaning that Qatari can offer lower interest and take business away from French/European lenders, ON THE BACK OF THE FRENCH TAXPAYER who finally foots the bill.
4- Royalties: Payments for intellectual property rights from French companies to Qatari entities reduce taxable profits in France, while the reverse is not taxed in Qatar. –
5- Capital Gains: Capital gains on real estate or shares in real estate-heavy companies might be exempt from French taxation under certain conditions.
Basically, for 10 billion of INVESTMENT (not gifts, not even purchases) Qatar gets billions in TAX-FREE business returns in the short to mid-term.
Moreover, the involvement of public investment structures like BPI, currently under scrutiny for ethical issues, in managing these funds raises additional concerns.
The broader implications of welcoming investments from a state involved in international corruption scandal AND granting it totally abnormal tax benefits, much more than the benefits granted to the FRENCH themselves… elicits some questions, I would say.
Political influence and economic sovereignty concerns come to mind.

I’m sure they’re doing it already, but israel has to learn to make all weapons systems in-house and not let themselves be pushed around by suppliers.
