Her sincerity most likely changed with the tide. It’s a self-preservation trait that is common among the Middle East Muslims. On October 7, 2023 and shortly thereafter, I’m sure that this woman was rejoicing with the “victorious” Hamas and the Soldiers of Allah (May all curse his name), dancing and eating candy and cake. Now that her world is in shambles, changing her spots and aligning with the Israeli army is her best strategy.
I fist saw this as a freshman in college. An Iranian student, also a freshman, invited all in the dorm to his room to see the picture of the Shah on his wall. He told everyone exactly how he was related to the Shah. After the Iranian revolution, he disappeared to California to protest AGAINST the Shah and in favor of the Ayatollah. Until then, I never saw such side flipping in my life. Since then I’ve seen this behavior many times among the Muslims of NYC.
It is possible that this woman is sincere, but I believe that her pro-Israel response is a good show. The IDF should tread cautiously and not let their guard down, lest she grab a rifle , shoot a soldier, and go out dying for Allah.
The Israelis should “accidentally” lay a rifle down near her loaded with blanks to test her out for a preliminary screening.

I have no doubt that the IDF won’t easily be deceived. As Reagan said “Trust but verify.”
