As the former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) acting director, President-elect Donald Trump‘s newly appointed ‘border czar’ Tom Homan isn’t afraid of engaging in heated debate on some of the administration’s most controversial border policies.
President Trump just put this man, Tom Homan, in charge of deportations,’ wrote conservative Turning Point activist Charlie Kirk, sharing the clip of Homan’s reaction to Ocasio-Cortez, adding fire emojis.
Other clips of Homan’s October interview with CBS News 60 Minutes resurfaced. ‘Is there a way to carry out mass deportation without separating families?’ asks journalist Cecilia Vega in the interview.

Less than 24 hours after Trump’s Homan announcement, reports went out that he will name top immigration adviser Stephen Miller as his deputy chief of staff for policy. It further shows that his administration is zeroing in on an unprecedented border crackdown.
Miller was the architect of Trump’s immigration plan during his first term and will be on the frontlines of the president-elect’s scheme to carry out the largest mass deportation in history. Miller has previously said that a second Trump administration would see a ten-fold increase in the number of migrants deported.
The news is triggering Democrats, including CNN pundit Tara Setmayer, who called Miller a ‘despicable human being’ moments after the pick was announced.

I Love Tom Homan and I’m so happy that he’s the one that’s going to be the bronc, busting out of the gate that Trump has opened for him. He and Trump are like the old school Dads that most kids need. My favorite line of his was just recently when he was asked about how not to break up families when deporting people. His reply was “Easy. Deport the whole family together.”
