I don’t think this is what the British government had in mind when they declared November “Islamophobia Awareness Month”

Apparently, the UK government and mainstream media wanted you to embrace Islamophobia Awareness Month as a time to encourage sympathy and compassion for the ‘beleaguered’ Muslims in Britain, whom they claim are innocent victims of anti-Islam bigotry and ridicule. But the campaign has backfired as people were reminded of the myriad of events that have been the root cause of so-called ‘Islamophobia’ in the first place.
