At the time the labour unions were infiltrated by actual agents-provocateurs in the pay of the USSR Politburo with the mission to destabilise Britain and bring about a revolution against the previous Conservative government, Some leaders of the British army even planned but did not carry out a coup d’etat to remove Wilson’s government by force of arms if necessary, so dire was the economic and social situation. The economy collapsed with inflation at 25%, the labour unions such as the auto-workers, miners and many others, running rampant and striking frequently to cause chaos.
Shockingly, at that time, the IMF was called in by Wilson to bail out Britain economically!
Starmer in his younger days was an avowed Trotskyist and later an official of The Haldane Society, a group of Marxist lawyers and has spent his adult career as a “Human Rights” lawyer, happily defending many actual Muslim and other terrorists!
You really cannot have such people anywhere near government!

If the Tories hadn’t been so wishy washy on the Muslim immigration problem, they probably wouldn’t have lost.
