A little correction (and without any wish to upset &/or offend you whatsoever): Islam really started in AD.599, with Mohammed’s first hijra (hegira). That means that it started in the late SIXTH – 6th – century: the year whose last two digits are “00” is the one that determines the century (100 years) that leads up to it. [I.e., 6th-century = AD. 501-600, 7th-century = AD. 601-700, and so on…]
