This is just part of the reason why.
BREAKING: Turkey’s President, Erdogan, release a statement claiming “JERUSALEM IS OUR CITY.”
Turkey is now directly threatening the sovereignty of Israel’s capital and hosting Hamas leadership. How is Turkey still in NATO? pic.twitter.com/FY1txMbA6Z

NATO came up alongside The Berlin Wall, so how come NATO did not come down alongside The Berlin Wall?.
Not a trick question.
If Turkey can be a member of NATO then why not Israel as Israel has the same values as NATO whereas Turkey is playing NATO for the foolish infidels they think they are.
NATO just like the EU have turned into something they were not created for.
Indeed.
NATO is military alliance to counterbalance Soviet military might. Turkey apparently a strategic location sit at southern Europe & Mediterranean Sea. To prevent Turkey aligned with Soviet Union, American has to invite them join NATO alliance. Technically, nato can’t complain about Turkey behavior against Israel, since their purpose is to defend itself against possible Soviet invasion. Was nato changed its policies recently?
It is time for Israel to take out the megalomaniac Erdogan. Most Turks would be grateful.
maybe they would like a rematch if we could only arrange to have men the Australian Light Horse to do to the Ottamen Empire in WW1 liberat the city of DAVID My Christmas wish
I was an expat for a little under two decades. Aside from a few assignments in the Czech Republic, everything else was in the Japans and the Republic of Korea. Our office was on the sixth floor of the Nauru Building on Saipan.
Within that time, I had to work with some turkeys from turkeyland. Trust me, they are, most assuredly, not the sharpest machetes in the shed. Not as bad as ayrabs, as they did know how to utilize indoor plumbing almost as well as human beings, but even that was a stretch.
Forkin’ turkeys from turkeyland …. Alley-hoooo-ackburrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Do you speak any Japanese?
Some Turks try to claim Japanese as their own over some fictional linguistic connection.
I’d love to see how they do that, having been a Japanese major in college.
It’s based on this nonsense: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turanism
Cool that you like Japanese.
How did that happen?
I went on a business trip with my father to Japan when I was 13. I loved the country and decided to study the language and culture when I went to college. I spent 2 years total in Japan, one year as a student and one year working for a Japanese company.
