It’s hard to make out, but, the map on the bulkhead screen looks like North Africa, a large body of water with desert at the bottom, and green at the top. On the world map, only the Mediterranean seems to fit.
If the compass on the back of the seat is anything to go by he’s facing the wrong way !
So, it’s just a display of supremacy, the crew probably know that, and ignore him so as not to give him any satisfaction in the thought he’s upset someone.
