This Lebanese Muslim girl was forced by her parents to stop attending school when she was 13 so she could marry a 29-year-old man. Her days are filled with cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. With tears in her eyes, she says: “A girl cannot refuse, it’s against our culture.” Her husband, Muhammad, says: “I married her young because I want to raise her myself so that she obeys me.”
