Only one-third of British Jews believe that Jews have a long-term future in the United Kingdom, and half are considering leaving Britain due to virulent anti-Semitism, according to a new survey published by the Campaign Against Antisemitism. Most British Jews now believe they no longer have a future here. Recent polling has also found that most hide their Jewishness in public and do not feel welcome in the United Kingdom.
Times of Israel Nearly 2,000 antisemitic incidents were documented in the first half of 2024, the highest-ever tally for a six-month period, according to the Community Security Trust, an organization helping secure Jews in the UK. Some 84% of British Jews believe that the authorities are not doing enough to address and punish antisemitism, and 62% are not confident that police would prosecute an antisemitic crime if they reported it.
Some 92% of British Jews think that media bias against Israel fuels the persecution of Jews in Britain. In terms of media bias, the BBC scored the worst among broadcasters in terms of its coverage of Jewish matters, with 92% of British Jews rating it as unfavorable. Among newspapers, The Guardian fared the worst, with an unfavorable rating of 69%.
The vast majority (85%) of British Jews are dissatisfied with London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s performance in relation to the Jewish community throughout the war in Gaza. On university campuses, only 3% of British Jews said they would be confident that if a Jewish student reported an antisemitic incident, the university’s administration would take appropriate action.
NY Post Israel’s minister for Diaspora affairs and combating antisemitism, Amichai Chikli, told Fox News Digital on Thursday that London is the world’s most anti-Semitic city because the atmosphere created by pro-Hamas supporters across London is something that we have not seen in other cities. Chikli cited an example of the British MP Mike Freer “who left office due to pro-Hamas attacks, including one that set his office on fire.”
The center of London has been immersed in mass rallies that are filled with what some observers claim include Islamic extremists and Far Left anti-Semites since Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7th.
When the anti-Israel slogan “from the river to the sea” is projected on Big Ben, it is a “call for the ethnic cleansing of Jews from the state of Israel.” The slogan, “From the river to sea, Palestine will be free,” is widely interpreted to mean the eradication of the Jewish state and its replacement with a Palestinian Muslim nation.
What’s more, most of the anti-Semitic incidents are not being reported. Most of the students on campuses know the system is totally against them. There is nothing to gain for complaining against harassment.”

Chikli argues the core feature of modern anti-Semitism is to strip Israel of its right to exist. He said the “3D Test of anti-Semitism” formulated by the human rights expert and former dissident in the Soviet Union, Natan Sharansky, best captures the hatred targeting Israel. Sharansky uses the litmus test of demonization, double standards, and delegitimization against Israel to classify contemporary anti-Semitism.
Chikli’s report noted that “The U.K. is among the top 10 countries for online antisemitic discourse. In 2023, 4,103 anti-Semitic incidents were recorded in the U.K., a 147% increase compared to 2022. A dramatic increase in London, with 2,140 incidents (52% of the total). 66% of incidents were recorded after October 7, with a 589% increase compared to the previous year.”
According to the report, “Nearly half of British Jews considered leaving the country due to the documented antisemitism. 60% of British Jews experienced or know someone who experienced an anti-Semitic incident after the war. Large pro-Palestinian protests were recorded in the U.K., with hostile calls against Jews and Israelis.”
Jews who are openly pro-Israel have no future in the U.K.. In academia, humanities are a write-off. Such Jews are openly discriminated against in many professions.”
The Jewish community in London “is condemned” both because of radical Islam and the reluctance of authorities to confront it.

I believe that the sharp rise in anti-Semitism is two factors. Number one, of course, is mass Muslim immigration to the West. Number two includes the Neo-Nazis and the Far Left which hates Israelis whom they wrongly see as oppressors of brown people, and Jews in general for having so much economic success despite their small numbers. The Neo Nazis and Lefties have been emboldened by the Muslims very public displays of hatred which gives them a pass to go public with the hatred they used to keep under the radar for the most part.
There are lots of delusional neo-nazi types on gab. If they weren’t so incredibly stupid and vile their delusional antisemitism would be comical. This is just the beginning. The whole of UK is going to be infested with this vermin, and starting with the Jews, no other faith other than Islam would prevail.
