Nihad Awad, terror-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) leader with well-documented ties to Hamas, unveiled a blueprint for Islamizing America at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) conference, urging their 4,000 mosques in America to fund Muslims to infiltrate and reshape U.S. institutions via the media and political institutions, while demanding that so-called “Palestinian” issues dominate American politics—proving these Islamic supremacists seek power, not coexistence.
RAIR Foundation ISNA, much like CAIR, has a deeply troubling history. Both organizations were named unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terror financing trial in U.S. history—the Holy Land Foundation case, where millions of dollars were funneled to Hamas. In Canada, ISNA lost its charitable status in 2018 for financing terrorism. ISNA’s founding mission was “to advance the cause of Islam and serve Muslims in North America so as to enable them to adopt Islam as a complete way of life.”
George W Bush revoked CAIR’s not profit status while he was in office, but Barack Hussein Obama reinstated it as soon as he became president. Donald Trump must revoke it again immediately. In January 2024, investigations revealed that CAIR had violated tax-exempt rules by actively campaigning for Joe Biden’s election. If these allegations are substantiated, CAIR should no longer qualify as a tax-exempt nonprofit and should instead be subjected to the same regulations as political organizations.
The legal challenges CAIR faces now go beyond its rhetoric; a federal magistrate judge recently ordered CAIR to reveal its funding sources, exposing potential foreign influences on its operations. This ruling could provide insight into whether foreign Islamic entities are covertly financing CAIR’s efforts to reshape American society.
Awad wasted no time laying out his strategy, praising young Muslims for embracing Palestinian terrorism,, which he framed as a universal struggle for “justice, equality, and freedom,” while invoking Islamic history to justify dismantling the current “system of injustice” in America.
Awad likened modern America to the pre-Islamic tribal system in Mecca, portraying it as a society in moral decay that must be confronted and transformed. He explicitly urged Muslims in America to view their struggle as a continuation of the Prophet Muhammad’s mission—one that involved tearing down the existing social and political order to establish an Islamic alternative.
Awad’s words were clear: Muslims in America must not simply integrate; they must actively work to change the country to reflect Islamic values at every level. He urged Muslims to keep the pressure on government officials to adopt a more pro-Palestinian stance, furthering the agenda of Islamic power in the West.
He called for every mosque in the U.S. to fund scholarship for careers in journalism, law, filmmaking, political science, and histor in order to control the narrative and ensure Islam is represented as its proponents wish, not as it truly is.
Awad laid out a vision where, within a few decades, tens of thousands of Muslim lawyers, journalists, and politicians would wield enough influence to rewrite laws, dictate media coverage, and ultimately reshape America’s political landscape.
