Sloan Rachmuth’s main concern now is to have the criminal case against her dismissed outright or to bring the case to trial with a not guilty outcome.
After she crosses that hurdle, she will have a field day suing the Holly Hills, NC Police Department and Police officers—Elliott Warren, Benjamin Marino, and Edgar Hernandez under 42 USC Section 1983. Depending on Harris Teeter and Kroger’s involvement, they could be added to the lawsuit as parties.
