For those of us who’re Christians, I’ll add the Two Great Commandments as recorded in Mark 12:28-34 (again NIV – UK):

Here, let me make one thing as clear as possible, in case you or anybody else asks “And who is my neighbour?” In St. Luke 10:25-38 (“the parable of the Good Samaritan”), My Lord & Saviour Makes it EXTREMELY PLAIN that ALL people matter to Him!!!! He Does NOT – repeat, NOT – differentiate between the Jews and the Gentiles, nor between any other groups of people. He Tells about both a priest and afterwards a Levite passing “by on the other side” a victim of a theft attack from which the hapless fellow is left half-dead in what apparently is a dangerous area. He then Brings in a Samaritan who takes pity upon who turns out to be a Jewish citizen (at that time, the Jews disdained the Samaritans as not being sticklers for Biblical law and tradition they themselves claimed to be), provides first-aid and then takes him (setting him upon his own donkey!) to an inn and gives money to the innkeeper to look after him – and pledges that on his next visit, he (the Samaritan) will pay any expenses incurred above the amount paid. He then Asks the man who asked “Who is my neighbour?” the question “Which of those three was a neighbour to the victim of those robbers?” When the questioner replies “He who had mercy upon him,” Christ Finishes by telling him “Go and do likewise.” What a world apart from Islam, which calls for sadistic cruelty upon anybody and anything “un-Islamic!!!!!”
