Some businesses in America discourage employees from eating in front of their Muslim colleagues, who claim to be ‘fasting’ from sunrise to sunset everyday during the entire holy month of Ramadan.
Here’s what they really are doing:

SHIT NO and what a question. I make it my responsibillity to not only to eat but to drink and to have a grillparty with lots and lots of pork and beer and all the little things they hate and we do this near their socalled mosque and all of that without remorse and yes we also wear our IDF t-shirts so no bad feelings or so but a good party we will have .
Do not feel guilty. We Muslims don’t care if you enjoy food during our fasting period. Enjoy all you want. We do not grudge your enjoyment of food.
Most of you have the wrong idea of Muslims and Islam. Invite a Muslim to your home, or visit one. You’ll find out how gracious and hospitable most Muslims are.

Dont insult the pigs here. pork is great and bacon and eggs in the morning are just what we need to start the day. I eat alot of pork and only the thought that this is a mudslime would ruin my taste for it then i dont like the mudslime at all …not one tiny little bit.
These guys go out of the way to make you feel guilty during Ramadan. Heck, in Universities non Muslim kids FAST to show solidarity with their Muslim fellow students. They do not realize that their ‘friends’ go home and double up for the lost meal and more! Over time this would become the norm and something ought to be done to prevent this.

I work right beside a strip mall mosque. Every Friday they do their thing. Being the unHoly month of Runyoudown, I was thinking of doing a BBQ right there. Nice pork based hotdogs. 🙂

I think you’re onto something there. I could be wrong but I believe some Americans wrap bacon around a wiener and call it a pig in a blanket? Much more olfactory assault using bacon.

In a word, “NO”. F*ck ’em. I had to put up with that BS for two years in Afghanistan & one year in Iraq. “Oh, no. You can’t eat or smoke around them because it offends their religion”. I say again, “F*CK ‘EM!”

I did work all of 2023 though. Luckily, I haven’t had any direct orders to respect Islam from any bosses yet but I have had extreme negativity from white bearded soccer-fans who probably like Mr. Tate (y’know on account of when they find out about my sexuality). I hear comments in the background that people feel more comfortable to make than they would have some years ago.
