SAY WHAT??? Lebanese Muslim Druze leader says, “Who else but Israel will protect us?”

Lebanese Druze leader, Wiam Wahhab, shocks the region by praising Israel as their protector after the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood’s new HTS leader’s betrayal in Syria, amid escalating tensions and Israeli military moves to defend Druze settlements near Damascus.

FYI: The Druze population living in Israel are vey loyal citizens, with most of their young men volunteering to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces, even though they are not required to by the Jewish state.

Lebanese Druze leader Wiam Wahhab discussedsIsrael’s intervention on behalf of the Druze population in Syria. He argues that no one else would protect the Druze but the Israelis, questioning whether they are expected to be slaughtered.

Wahhab expressed support for Arab nations and Sunnis but criticized countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Al-Azhar University for not protecting the Druze despite their previous support. He also stressed that Hezbollah cannot continue supporting the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood, particularly Hamas, without assurances that Sunnis will not persecute Shiites and Druze.
